Do you LIKE women?

I don't know of any men who are truly "successful" with women who would rather spend time with men than women.

Think Casanova would? Think Hefner would? Think Charlie Sheen or Tiger Woods or Warren Beatty or Frank Sinatra or any other notorious ladies-man would rather spend the night with dudes than with chicks?

Honestly, what man would rather spend time with men than with women? I don't understand. From the time I was in pre-school I played with girls to the exclusion of boys. At the end of each day when we were waiting for our parents to pick us up, the little girls would wave and shout "Bye, Zarky!" as I hopped into my mom's car. My parents still tease me about this.

Women love me (for the most part), and I love them. I don't have a problem with men, but I guess I don't understand... why would any man want to hang out with another man when he could hang out with a woman? Please enlighten me.

remeber most the guys going on about women here are bitter and /or lack the skills to communicate with women
its more a relfection on their inabilaties than anything else
they have simplified women it to absudity - theres good/cool/nice and bad/dumb/evil women AND men ....

I don't mean this as an insult but it seems to me that you might have more feminine traits than masculine. It could simply be your individual biology, hormone ratios, etc (wild guessing here obviously).

There are various forms of activities that men engauge in that really satisfy our need to express our masculinity. These can be anything from playing sports, arguing, fighting, playing video games, philosophyzing, inventing, detailed discussions about hot women, etc. These things cannot be enjoyed to their fullest extent with the majority of women.

Testosterone is a major influence on the way we behave and what we desire. Most guys hang out with women because they either want sex or feel obligated by social pressures (which they hope will get them sex, lol).

I'm speaking in general terms of course, I'm not real interested in exceptions, but I'll glady take them if they present themselves.

This topic reminds me of all those moments when I've been around women and simply couldn't take their incessant chatting about the most meaningless sh-t I've ever heard. I still love em though!!

Agreed. And to the next poster - who said he is getting laid? Are you sure he isn't painting their nails? I've hung out with girls up to around age 10, then I did a 180 and had mostly guy friends - playing sports, tag, discovering new things, they were better with guys. We brought girls in but would have to "watch" over them to ensure they were safe.

And Zarky, you couldn't be more wrong about the people you named. Sinatra had his rat pack, Heffner constantly has male celebs over at the house and names them in his stories. I think you might want to look at your life if you have no connection with men.

lol, I think some of the responses are funny. Of course you'd love to hang around women if you were ****ing them. However I think the question was more like if you like women if you weren't ****ing them. I don't find most girls have much to offer me. Most don't like the same hobbies as me (though my guy friends do). Most of the time I'm not able to have a stimulating conversation with most girls. Most girls wouldn't be fun if you took any sexual acts out of the equation. Sure I've met girls that I do enjoy hanging with, but they are few and far between (plus most will ditch you if they get a bf or something. I've even had a girl ditch my friendship after me and her got a little too "friendly" at a club, with no real explanation). Sure, I'll hang out girls in a group of ppl. I'll hang with girls that I'm actively trying to ****. And I'll use my friendships with girls if that friendship provides me with something (ie, access to game her friends, social networking, free cover and drinks at clubs). But otherwise I don't see the point.

To those who have said, "Yes I like women because they have a different perspective, are humorous in their own way, etc" I say thank you, that's an interesting opinion, I just don't happen to share it.

To those who have said things like 'Yeah, what, do I want to **** guys?", I say please go back to school or if you are in school please study a bit harder.

I also suspect, but obviously cannot prove, that a couple of the posters on this thread are either women or gay. If they're not then I suspect that those guys who are saying they like hanging out with bunches of girls (purely for their friendship) aren't getting laid an awful lot.

Girls are pretty amusing to me. Of course I like to do things like constantly pick on them, make them do stuff for me and talk sh1t to them. But....after a while they do get boring and all girly acting. I spend a lot of time alone. Most of my male friends are married with children or have moved across the country. The rest are living lifestyles that is not compatible with mine (mainly drugs or crime)...so its hard to find decent guys to hang out with. Probably why I hang out on forums while I work on my websites. I have gone days without speaking to a real life human being, sitting at home working. Still...I'd rather be alone than hanging out with a bunch of girls 247. Hanging out with a single girl (not a group), for a few hours of relaxation is great though. After living with a woman for 8 years..I'm enjoying the silence.

I have actually met a couple girls that genuinely interest me and that I can't see myself getting bored with. Unfortunately, one of them is dating one of my best friends. She's attractive, dresses like a lady but she would be a great deal of fun to just sit around a fire and drink beer with. When she gets drunk she basically turns into a femninine bro. Most women dont actually make me laugh but she does. And not in a fake way. And no I dont have the itis.

So I would say I do not really 'like' women. This is only because I have never really met any worth meeting. They all seem shallow and uninteresting. This doesnt mean that guys are any better though. Im just more apt to want to play some vidya gaems than goe shoe shopping or whatever they actually like doing.

My current girlfriend even admitted last night over dinner to not having any hobbies. She literally does nothing but watch TV and work and buy my dinner. The fvck kind of an existence is that? How can a person not have a single fvcking hobby outside of her boyfriend?

This might be true. I'm with you though Zarky, I love women and spending time with them. Even if its just as friends, I find women more interesting than guys. I do have a good solid bunch of male friends of course, some sort of balance is important

I like to spend time with women....in the confines of a room!!!

Anything besides that I don't really care for but like all men in the world we are forced to (going to restaurants, movies and just going out and spending time outside the bedroom). I don't have any female friends. To me friends are the buddies I hang out with. Women are either my lovers or "people I know" but nothing more. Having female friends is not the way I chose to live my life.

I long for the days when women were nothing more than wives and concubines and those days are going to return soon.

But having a few female friends is nice. It's balance.
