I'm talking about suits or just elegant button-down shirts.

I often wear button-down shirts simply because I always feel like a million dollars in them. I often get complimented on my appearance when I wear elegant business attire but sometimes, funnily, women pay me more attention when I wear V-necks or T-shirts (maybe because they show my muscles to their best advantage, I don't know, lol).

I also think that you attract certain types of women with your style of clothing. Some women swoon over men in suits, while other women prefer the casual look.

What's your opinion?

I think men look so cute when they wear business attire! It does make them look more elegant, intelligent, and successful. :)

Absolutely. I get mad attention when I'm walking around in a suit. Clothes mean EVERYTHING for men. I also note that I receive a lot more respect from men when I'm wearing a business suit. They'll get out of my way when I'm walking and they'll generally defer to me. I was actually going to make a new thread about this soon.

She is a woman, actually a feminist.

I made a habit of wearing business casual everyday.
I usually wear a button down shirt, a cardigan, or a v-neck sweater. If it's chilly I put on a dark navy blazer.
I wear jeans though, but it's color is dark navy, almost black.
And I always wear classic cap toe shoes.

I started dressing like this for the past 6 months just for an experiment, and I actually am doing much better with women.

I definitely get more COMPLIMENTS when I wear a suit.

From a purely "get laid" standpoint, my money is on the buff T-shirt wearing guy. But, overall, I think business suits are very good. A good suit can only help a guy. I see no downside really.

Yeah bro she may look at you for 2 more seconds, but then she'll go on her daily routine.

It's good to present yourself well and be credible, but to think its going to get you some action, sadly mistaken. In a way could come off as pretentious.

Some will say it's pretentious, some will say it's elegant. Different people, different perspectives.

Buisness attires cool, but only on occasion. T-shirts and the urban look are in right about now. I get more attention from a nicely fitting shirt though.

Really depends on the area/country.

There are certain areas of West London I just don't bother going out in right now because I don't have the right gear to wear, nor am I ever likely to. I mean these areas are basically populated with Saudi princes, Russian oligarchs, banking executives and Eastern European hookers. Basically if you not going to arrive at the bar in a supercar, decked out in something bespoke from Saville Row, don't bother.

Equally, in the East end, most of the hipsters turn up as scarecrows of a Friday night - men and women. I also avoid these areas because they tend to be rife with baggy jumper-wearing fem-bots.

Usually head to Central or the suburbs on Friday or Saturday which have a nice mix of locals and tourist types so can pretty much wear anything smart-causal. I do tend to get a bit more attention with a bit of effort. A nice shirt, waistcoat and shoes usually does the trick. Full business attire at the weekend can look a bit out of place unless it's a special occasion.

Yes. That's why I love wearing a nice dress shirt and dress pants.

That was a puzzling question man.

I meant yes I get more attention, but as soon as the girl finds out that I'm not a real businessman and just wearing the suits, she will lose interest.

Depends on the type of suit you are wearing. If its well cut and fashionable (take most designer brands as an example) you'll get attention. Its the same with casual clothing too.

Like you, I prefer V-necks and a casual style, BUT suits get you through the door with different kinds of women.
