Do you ever lie about your age?

I've found that women nowadays almost always ask my age immediately.

I am 40 but look about 34. Tonight someone thought I was 30.

Tonight an HB8 asked my age and I told her the truth. She said she was 29. I ended up striking out even though she had approached me.

Last week it was a 26 year old who approached me, hit on me, then asked my age and said I was too old when I told her.

Should I start lying about my age when women blatantly ask my age in bars?

(Note: it's just as rude for a woman to ask as it is for a man to ask a woman's age).

You can always play it off. When they ask for your age you can say "a gentleman never reveals his age!!"

But remember it's not like you're going to marry these b|tches. Say whatever you think is going to help your chances. If you look 34 and you're gaming a sloot in her 20's then tell her you're 34 if you think telling her you're 40 is going to hurt you. If you're gaming a 40 something milf then tell your real age if you think she won't care. That's what I would do. Just do whatever is going to help you close the deal.

Never let this get you down man. Age is a number and I have met guys in their twenties that look and behave like they are fifty and met guys in their fifties that are cool and relaxed.

Here's what I would do in this exact moment: - When they ask you, just say "Guess?" and sexy grin back at them whilst maintaing a perfect gaze into their eyes. I mean you do that sexy half smile and eyeball straight into their pupils that says "I'm know I'm hot". Then when they respond with whatever their magical stupid answer is, just hold the same gaze/sheepish smile and raise your eyebrow to acknowledge their answer. They will wait for you to tell them their answer was right or wrong. Now you just keep smiling that kick arse ****y smile and eye ball them whilst they just keep waiting for your answer. Assuming you just keep holding the same sexy smile and gaze, you will look cool and you simply never offer an answer. The suspense will kill them as you are not giving them anything - but more importantly you come across totally in control of that situation and having fun playing with them.

What's really at play here is your defusing any awkwardness or silence that the mention of an age disparity can create. And you're showing that age is not really an issue for you're sex appeal to women. You may need to temper what I am saying a bit, if you over do the routine you could look like clint eastwood in a bad seventies movie, but if it is done with your own natural style, I think most chicks would be pretty impressed by the little game you have engaged them in. Plus it keeps their attention on you as their playing the guessing game.

Celebrities are taught this trick early in their careers and use it to stunning effect with the media - usually it's not done when being asked their age, but its most often done when an interviewer asks a probing question about whom they are dating or what their next album/movie/tour will be and they dont want to reveal it. They draw the interviewer into guessing the answer to the question they have just asked, and then the celebrity just grins back to them and says nothing. The vibe it creates is like a bomb!

I have to lie, This has happened to me over 5 times in the year. A girl would be choosin me and when she ask me for my age I say 20. They all say I'm too young and they would if I was only a couple years older. So I just lie to older girls and say 22.

I do, but because I look much younger than I am. Whenever I do say my real age, people get surprised.

Best to lie, but indirectly unless you are pushed.

Say something like "Guess".

She'll guess, and you can then say "Well that was a good guess, only slightly off."

She may not push to know after that, but if she does then don't feel bad about lying.

If she is really into you later, she won't hold it against you.

If you are 30+ and looking for ONS' with hotties, sadly, lying is essential. When they ask my age, I tell them to guess. They will tell you how old they want you to be. Agree with her and say good guess or say she's close and adjust it one year at MOST.

I'm 35, and used to believe that if a woman is close to my age or older, I could be honest with her. WRONG. A 38 year old cougar blew me out after I told her I was 35. She told me she thought I was 26. Evidently, I just killed her much younger man / cougar fantasy.

So when looking to hookup, I use the "guess" game now on ALL women, not just 20somethings.

Most guys wouldn't hesitate to b&ng an older woman if she looks good. With women, it's not that simple. Many have strict upper limits on age.

8ish hottie came in my place of work and asked my coworkers "who is that hot guy over there? give him my number now!!" they were jealous as hell but relayed the info to me LOL

I talked to her my entire shift over text LMAO...she just turned 18 and is still in HS, wanted to know how old I was, told her "I look 22 but am actually 27" she agreed that I did and loved it...and yes I am gonna take her out and see how it goes

point is some girls will like much older guys some won't, if they run don't sweat it, it still means you can attract them in the end, I am not dishonest and never will be, but I guarantee that I will be able to pull 20 year olds when I am 32ish and not have to lie about my age =)

OP needs to forget these b!tches

How backward is the cougar phenomenon?

Throughout history in all cultures and countries, women have been universally attracted to older men. Suddenly we have this trend where women want younger men. Is it brainwashing from TV shows like Sex and the City?

It's anti-family for sure. Older men make better husbands, fathers, and providers. The number of offspring is maximized with a woman who is 6 years younger. For the past 100 years, the average married couple features a man 4 years older.

But my last GF was 36 and I'm 40 and after a lukewarm relationship she ended it and said I was too old for her and that she never dated a guy that much older (now she's with a 28 year old). I would think women would want to hide their more rapid aging by being with a man who makes them feel young.
