I`ve been reading these posts lately about how women drool over you as your size increase, yet I can`t seem to this to logic with a certain observation i`ve made. If you see, all the sexiest men in the world, (Currently Jude Law), Brad Pitt, Johnny Depp, Tom Cruise, Colin Farrell, etc etc, wern`t particulary very big, they were more on the lean side, yet well toned. I still can`t see a reason that women would like big men, yet the sexiest men in the world arn`t big at all! Explanations?

No, this is not what all those posts mean.

They mean attractive women prefer well built men instead of skinny men

The point is, lift weights, work out if you're skinny with no muscles, or lose some fat if you're overweight. That's really the point.

They go after masculine men. Skinny guys with no muscles, no toned, are not masculine.

Your examples are of 'not-skinny' guys, they are from successfull people showing very masculine personalities through their appearance (toned, with some muscles, good loking) and movies.

If you are skinny, but blessed with good bone structure, most girls will still go for you.

I've noticed if you are skinny and average looking or wear glasses or anything to make you look nerdy, adding some meat is probably one of the key things to help.

Everybody has different opinions as to what is attractive. All of these female celebrities that are supposed to be the hottest girls in the world like Catherine Zeta Jones and Jennifer Lopez do nothing for me. Just because the media says they are great looking doesn't mean everybody will think so.

Most girls I've talked to also prefer fit men, but think that bodybuilder types are too big and look "ridiculous" (the word used most often when I ask).

But then again, each girl has a different threshold where the "ridiculous" part comes into play.

We don't mean you have to be HUGE with muscles (though there is nothing wrong with that). But having muscle (average) and being lean goes a long way.

if you want a good idea of what an ideal man looks like, look at a profesional hockey player or soccer player. Not too big, but very VERY cut and toned. Thats what turns women on the most. All of those guys at the clubs with those massive arms and massive chest..most women would prefer an athletic looking guy over a muscle bound lift-to-look-big hunk.

A proffessional hockey player is going to alot bigger, and have more strength and power than a professional soccer player.

The problem is these guys with the massive arms and chest workout because they are extremely insecure. We all know how much women like insecure men:rolleyes:

Back in Arnold's Olympia days he was always hooking up with hot chicks. Not because of his muscles, because of his insane amount of confidence and charisma.

Now please remember gentlemen, this is just MY opinion....

On a purely primal level, I am turned on by bigger men. Women like big guys because we feel they can protect us. A man who stands 6'3" and weighs 220 is NOT going to get mugged very often, and neither is any one with him. (Where as a guy who's only 5"6", weighing 115 is wearing an invisible target on his back)

Thin, slender guys totally gross me out (like 5'10", 130 pounds). Also the Mr. Universe types....YUCK! They are too over done. (And have a tendency to spend too much time in the gym & not enough with me!;) )

I prefer a guy with some BEEF, doesn't have to be perfectly cut, but that he can at least pick up a bag of groceries without whimpering under his breath. I'd date a taller, overweight guy any day, than one who is too thin.

Why do people worry about sh1t like this? Also, Im tired of people taking shots at the more muscular dudes, its like you are jelous or something...It depends on a persons body type...All the dudes you see with the massive chests and arms are like that cause they are bigger anyway...I have a 50 inch chest and 17 inch arms, but even when I was skinny, I was 180 pounds...Its not cause Im insecure and I work out all the time, its just that thats how my body works....I think people just tell themselves that to make themselves feel better or something...Im not gonna starve myself and make myself smaller to make some girl happy, fukk that...

Yeah I agree with it all depends on the persons body structure.

I know some guys who are extremely buff but it's all out of proportion and looks horrible.

It's all about the body structure. That's what I think anyway and what women I've encountered seem to think.

I tried to get some women's opinions about this when I started bulking and most I asked said they like athletic build, defined body but draw the line at the vein-popping, bulging muscles of bodybuilders.

These days I also think more women go for the clean cut look.

Why is it that when a woman says she likes nice sweet guys that will treat her like a lady some of you don't believe her but when she says she doesn't like bulging muscles you do believe her?

Well, honestly, I doubt any girl meeting some dude is gonna think about how often he gets mugged. I think it's more about power, and that the taller, thicker guys look more powerful. And yeah, a lot of girls I've talked to (including you, Ms. Tiger), seem to not mind someone with excess weight on them, so long as they're not disgustingly obese.

It's thoughts like that that have me questioning why I bother staying in shape. I'm short, and cut, but I don't think I could do any worse being short and not as cut. But for some reason I continue to maintain my build. Don't know why.
