You're good looking and don't have a girlfriend? I haven't been dating lately, and people always ask me if I got a girlfriend. I tell them "no" and they have this look of "Oh, he must be gay". Of course they don't say this, but when people ask me, and I tell them I don't have a G/F they think I'm lying or something to cover up that I'm gay. And I'm not. Well actually. One friend of mine (who I see only occasionally) asked me "Do you have a girlfriend yet?" I said "No". He then replied with "Are you gay?"

What's with this?

Depends. If you look like a tutti fruity complete with the 'wrist' and the pink shirt, then yeah, people might think you are an assrider if you don't have a gf.

But on the other hand, if you're a normal guy I got no idea why they ask if you're gay. Maybe it's Freudian slip on their part of some sort? Next time as them if they are gay.

Friend, I used to (note "used to") have this very problem.

I tend to keep my romantic life to myself. I don't talk about it much with friends, family, or anyone really. I find a girl, go on a few dates, we break up, I move on. That's just how I prefer to operate. I don't inform people becuase I feel no need to.

Unfortunately, this is the main reason why many people think I'm gay. They think I've been single for five years. I mean, voice, clothing, body language, etc. They all factor in for some people. But for me it's just the lack of communication.

Pretty much, I'd say, watch a few episodes of Queer Eye for the Straight Guy and try your hardest to NOT mimic those guys.

this is a funny post really. i remember back 2 years ago when i was asked this by 2 acquantances i knew, i replied "no, and im not gay." ...hah we had a good laugh.

However other times in the past i've been questioned if i was a player.

but i agree with matthias, usually i tend not to tell anyone about my dating life. that is unless they ask first.

Just read my free ebook 22 Rules for Massive Success With Women and do the opposite of what I recommend.

lol, I hear ya bro.

Only thing is that, I have girls chasing me ocassionally, and I do date ocassionaly, but none of the girls I feel can keep my interest, they either get too annoying too fast, or they're just fuked up. So I never have a steady gf, ppl esp girls keep asking me if I'm gay.

My answer. No, I just haven't found anyone worth my time, there's too many stupid people out there.

I don't care if they think I'm gay, because I get the action that I need from girls, I don't need any LTR's to prove I'm not gay.

But ya, mine's also due to a lack of communication. I don't think it's any of other people business what I do.

Am I the only one who sees the opportunity for C&F in here?

- Are you seeing someone?
- I'm trying to keep it down to about five girls ;)

A David D. classic. Straight answers are usually so boring anyways.

- No. Why, are you looking for someone? ;) (even funnier if it's a guy who asks).

Keep it funny, guys. People will realize that the joke is on them.

Gonzalo, you da man for picking up on the oppurtunity for some c & f.
If someone ask you, "do you have a girlfriend?". Just say "If you want to go out on a date just ask". Or if a guy ask respond with "No homo here" and walk away.

Create self-fulfilling prophecies. Always assume the positive. Assume she likes you. Assume she wants to talk to you. Assume she wants to go out with you. When you think positive, positive things happen.
