Welcome buddy!

Get this in your head, and get it good inside your head:

Everyone has a chance at becoming a DJ

BUT, it is a lot of work. And that's where most guys on here go wrong. You got to be willing to work for it, a lot. You will crash and burn, you will be emberrassed, you will be uncomfortable, you will be destroyed by these vicious women. It just has to happen enough to you for you not to care anymore.

I started a journal on here two years ago. See the link in my sig. I used to be one of the most insecure, super-low self-esteem and shy guy in the world. And now, I'm pretty much the exact opposite. And believe me my man, I worked hard for that.

In terms of reading material this is a good place to start. But don't get too wound up in that, seriously. The only way to make it work is to GET OUT THERE!. You can't learn to play football or learn to play the guitar by reading a lot about it. You got to practice, practice, practice! Same with dealing with girls and women.

Here's another secret. Looks don't have anything to do with how attractive you are. I'm a really good looking guy, and I'm not saying this to brag. People around me say it, and it happened two times to me that a spotter from a modeling agency tried to employ me right there in the street. There are guys that are butt-ugly, that have been WAY more successful then me with girls. It's all about how you carry yourself. Hugh Hefner, you think all those girls are around him because he's such a sexy looking guy? Probably not.

You physically have everything you need to become a DJ. It's all in your head!. Now start reading and then get out there.

Again, get out there. It really is the only way to success.

1st of all, looks don't make you a DJ, the real man inside of you becomes the DJ.

I reccommend:
-Reading the DJ Bible (http://www.jbspencer.com/djb/)
-Making friends on this board and learning as much as you can. You can IM or pm me if you'd like to.
-Getting out there and meeting some women!!

I think you'd look much better with contacts; some guys look good in glasses, others, not so much.

Yes but .. you asked for brutal honesty and for max results there's a few tips.. about our physical appearance I'm not being mean just observations.

1. Lose the glasses. Contacts
2. You wear your hair like a seriel killer.. I think a short low maitenence cut would suit ygou since your in a proffesional field. That way you look better and can still be taken serious. Not quite bald but really close cut like the guy on jailbreak.
3. Work out. I can't tell what your body looks like but work out anyway..

And read some of this **** but don't be too into it. Cause pook or gunwitch said it doesn't mean its the end all be all but read the basics and id love to see you make a progress thread.
Take care

You don't have a coke head
You don't have an asymetric face
Everything is in proportion.

To sum it up you're not a freak. And that's enough to be a DJ.

I promise.

And it's like most ppl here say.. I'm also a good looking guy, ppl say I'm close to HB8/9/10 whatever. But other ppl have way more succes with woman then me, because I'm shy.

Besides the little effort it takes to improve your hair and style of dress, the vast majority of becoming a DJ is all in your head. It's all about your personality.

Go to a stylist and ask them to make you look cool

Because at the moment you wont be able to get even HB5's

Change the hair, wear contacts, get cooler clothes.

You're not ugly - you just look like a geek at the moment and alot could be done. At the moment you would rate a 3/10 and i recon you could easily get that up to a 7/10 with the right setup.

Dude you're pretty much set.....girls love a guy with a degree, even if hes not a DJ.

I've been DJing for about 4 years and have had my ups and downs, and have come to realize that a lot of girls 20+(years) will not give you the time of day if you don't have a degree and they do
