I'm 155lb, 5'9". I have skinny arms, legs, but i have a big belly (from drinking I guess), and facial fat (around my cheeks), looks like i'm getting a double chin. I want the facial fat, and beer belly gone but i don't want to get skinnier arms and legs.

Moronic advice at best ^^^

You can't bulk if your bf is low. Gain another 10-15 pounds of fat and start working out now.

Cheers

Jesus H Christ, what freakin ell are you on son!!!

ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha

You call me advice moronic and then come up with retarded stuff like that?

Btw, ice cold, i seen your pics....you skinny homie. You need to try that stuff on yo self first, mayne!

Here is what i mean.

Lower bodyfat and then start muscle gaining programme.

Why?

Because inorder to gain substantial muscle you have to eat enough to up bodyfat a little.

If you are fat to begin with, you will just become fatter.

i would say just start lifting weights with low reps to gain muscle. more muscle burns more calories so you shouldnt have trouble losing the fat once you get some muscle.

Well by low reps i hop you dont mean 3 reps.

3 reps and long rests aint gonna build optimal muscle .

I don't know you, but you have solidifed something in my mind. When we get pissed off, we are putting our how we feel in the hands of other people. We are giving up our autonomy over our minds.

LOL! This is hilarious. Real man is a little raw but he makes me laugh. He's right in this case by the way.

Personally if I were a skinny fat man (i'm not, i'm a bronzed adonis:p ) I would initially just get into the habit of regular exercise and not focus on either bulking or cutting.

Bulk.

Read the sticky at the top of this forum for advice on bulking.

Lift like hell, eat a s*it-ton of protein, and bulk up. Get to 175, and then start cutting.

peace;

Ok, seriously. You don't really give us much to go on. Have you ever trained before or are you a novice? I will assume you are just starting out. Like I said, you are not ready to 'bulk' or 'cut'. Competitive bodybuilders bulk and cut, it's not so black and white for the average guy.

How can you even think about doing either until you are proficient in the required exercises and understand the role of nutrition? That's why I say to just start exercising, you'll start to improve anyway. If you just go all out with a bulking mindset right now, the chances are you'll just get fatter and frustrated.

Increase your activity level, learn some basic free weight exercises and do some mild cardio a couple of times per week. See how you react first off. Gradually increase your calories to compensate, again see how you react. It's a learning process and everyone is different. When you have attained a respectable level of strength and have started to lose your belly and improved your body composition, then start thinkning about bulking up or whatever. It seems everyone wants results yesterday without laying some sort of foundation first.

you can gain muscle regardless of sizen or weight. don't listen to these 13 and 14 yr. old kids.

my advice is gain some muscle (bulk up) lift 3-4x a week.

your not a heavy kid so after youve gain a little muscle you can begin to cut. do cardio 4-6x a week while cutting. do this while u mintain lifting heavy. youll be a beast in no time

p.s keep calorie intake low or atleast burn off these calories with some running.
