Don't let her words knock you down. When she says stuff like this, call her a "dyke." Then throw her on the couch and do her @nally... (Who's femanine NOW???) That should shut her up.

As someone else said, rag on her for NOT knowing how to cook. Compare her to some slob male friends you know. You were on the right track in a post when you said it is time to make her qualify to you.

For example...examine her logic. Cooking makes you girly because supposedly, it is the type of thing a girl does  . Turn it around on her. If cooking is a girly thing to do and she doesn't cook, then what does that make her?

But as an aside, I think you could use some time off from a relationship. The fact that a girl was able to get under your skin like she is doing right now tells me that you still got some insecurity issues. I don't mean to insult you, but I don't think your head is in it enough to jump into relationships. Take some time off, work on yourself and your confidence/self-esteem and then go back in when you're an ironman. If she can get under your skin like how she is now over something like cooking, there are likely to be many problems ahead.

The idea of the whole DJ notion is not a band-aid solution to whatever specific problems you currently have with a girl. It is an entire philosophy to change your state of mind into one that is strong and attractive. One that values oneself, is completely secure and confident. It doesn't sound like you're there yet.

Cooking for chicks is trying to impress chicks. You can help them cook or cook together but if your a ***** like that and like to cook its cool I guess.

Well I tried turning it back to her to make her qualify to me and i think it's working. I mentioned that I made myself food the other night when she asked me what i was doing. (it was just pasta, sauce was from a jar) so basically boiled water. not rocket science. it was either that or hot pockets, or spend money on takeout.

Anyway she says again "i dont cook anything"
So I joked, wat r u good for? A woman's place is in the kitchen (in a laughing voice) And she laufhed and then seemed to be trying to get my approval by saying she tries to make things, but they never come out right.

It's not about whether anyone thinks dominant males should cook or not.

Dominant males do whatever the hell they want! Opinions of others are irrelevant. Dominant males don't take crap about it either.

Your woman is out of line for saying things like she's been saying. She has thrown down the gauntlet by putting you down. Your response or lack of it will either establish you as dominant or submissive and you need to decide which it's gonna be.

Ignoring it or worse yet doing what she says she expects you to do or not do will establish you in both your minds as submissive.

Doing what you want, not giving a crap what she says or does could swing you the other way. For example, aggressive rough sex with you in complete control, secretly videotaped and mailed to her mom, means you're dominant.

The choice is yours.

lol i think ur right, except for the taped to her mom part haha.
just last week she joked bout me doin nothin at my job all day, cuz i mentioned once i was surfing the net. And i laughed bout it, cuz soemtimes its true yes. But then she said it again, and cuz i didnt want it to become a pattern, i just had a serious face and in a cool relaxed manner just said "nah i get my sh*t done at work" and ended it right there. She made the same joke a couple days later, and she caught herslef immediately as if she was sorry she even started saying it and said "just kidding", before i even said anything back to her. I think i trained her right.

This is a new concept to me, being the dominant one. In my last relationship, i became an enslvaed b*tch. i think the serious face and relaxed answer works well. It gives them no fuel for their fire and shows an aura of confidence am i right?

I'm also going to object to the idea that cooking is feminine by definition. The concept is likely a holdover from when the normal home situation was for the man to be the bread winner and the woman, the bread baker. Women cooked out of necessity.

A quick google gave the figure of male enrollment at the Culinary Institute of America, a big name cooking school, at around 70%.

Cooking is just another activity that men can excel at thanks to our analytical brains, like repairing an engine or building a deck.

As Scorched said, cooking is basically just following directions, if you can assemble flatpack furniture, you can cook.

What is girly about slicing up a thick chunk of animal flesh with a sharp knife and tossing it on searing hot iron? :)

i'd rather cook my food than for her to cook it for me, while at the same time telling me to hand her all the things she need like, "can you get me this and can you get me that"...like i'm some kind of an obeying dog. grrrrrrr

Usually though if I do cook for a date I will show her or make her do most of the work and get the groceries. Even though I can cook, I still want a chick who can so any chick who even thinks as closed minded as u I dont want around. Aint nothin girly about liking to cook, or sayin you do and i get paid for it in more ways than 1
