DJ's Cell Phone

I started noticing a trend. A guy's cell phone is starting to become a status "symbol" at my school. Every class I go to girls, ask to check out my new Siemens M56 (Orange Buttons & Color Screen). By the end of the day other girls in my various classes had been told through other girlfriends about it.

Now I asked some of my other guy friends and they are experiencing this also. How come a guy's cell phone is now starting to be viewed as more then just another accessory?

If i had my phone with me, regular nokia, that people call on pretty often, i would get far more attention than u with your orange buttons and no calls. Remember, this had been said fvcking million times before, your stuff doesnt make u a DJ.

Cell phones are great. I've got the Sony t610 or something like that, It's really small, has a camera, and some great ringers.

Why are girls attracted to pimp cell phones? As said before, it shows people call you outside of school, and it's becoming bling almost.

Only comments I get on my phone is when I meet a new person, is "well, you sure do get alot of calls" As oxide said, having the cheapest phone but getting tons of calls is better than having a $900 phone and 0 calls.

Just get a camera phone, there pretty cheap now and my lordy are they fun =)

That is very true. But the question in here was not if you can gain a LTR from having Bling Bling stuff, but why you gain attention from girls for it. Especially something like a cell phone. We all know it does not make us a DJ but it was still an interesting question to ask.

I remember when I was in 8th or 9th grade, (6 or 7 years ago) one of the guys in my school got a cell phone, and I remember hearing a girl say to him "a CELL PHONE? My gosh, you're so SPOILED" (she was totally trying to hook up)

I was in the mall a few months ago, and I saw a kid who was maybe 6 or 7 with a cell phone on his belt. Everyone has em. As far as I'm concerned, I don't even HAVE a home phone # anymore.

Sometimes the little things are bastards, though. I remember back when I was an uninitiated AFC, I'd happily receive calls for girls who weren't sexually interested in me to talk about their latest boyfriend problem.

My cellphone was probably laughing at me in its little microchip mind while I tried to be the girls' therapist, hoping that one day they'd leave their boyfriends for me.
