DJ with Braces?

Hey are you a DJ with braces? If so tell us how hard it is.

Recently in another thread, some guys said "oh if you got braces, you cannot get a gf" and even said "do people with braces even have a gf?".

So I just want some opinions before I go out and start smiling.

I can honestly say I've never seen anyone so excited to get braces

But more power to you. I've never had braces, and friends of mine with them always seemed to have trouble with the ladies. Hmm...

Braces are an investment. They suck. But most people realize that they are just temporary...and they serve a purpose the most females appreciate when they come off.

So do what you can with them on...then when you get them off with straight teeth...you're in bonus territory.

Braces do NOT make you money. They are not an investment.

It's an investment in yourself...similar to buying a weight bench, spending time working out, tanning, etc...except it has a longer term outlook. You're investing a lot of cash and pain now, in hopes to have a nice smile down the road.

And whether you like it or not, nice teeth are pretty important to a lot of girls.

You always have a chance. And the more confidence you have...the better that chance is. Just keep improving in as many ways as possible.

but I can't say that all girls are attracted to guys with braces

but they will be attracted to guys with straight teeth and a nice smile once you get it off

I didn't say GF I said either date or pickup women Cause if you are already with a girl sure you can get braces but dude braces are _ugly_ I mean they lessen the attration of someone about a gazillion points. Yes it is MUCHO HARDER.

HAHAHAHHAHA... i can't believe brits actually defend their crooked ass grills... i thought the whole joke about brits having bad teeth was just a joke. i didn't know they actually cherish the "tradition."

i had them from when i was 12 until 18 and now that i have them off girls say then LOVE my smile! they do work, its just that its a b*itch wearing the retainers afterwards...but i still get all KINDS of compiments when i show a girl my big grin trust me, you'll love it

But actually one weird thing... is I like something about girls with brace (not all kind of brace) but I find something sexy about some girls with brace the way it makes their "jaw" look... but I cannot describe it.

Alright, as the Mack with experience, i was a bit phased about getting braces. But i needed them, and at the age of 18 i finally got em.

Gigalo - Yes, this is one of the best investments in MYSELF that i have made in my life. You confidence shoots through the roof when you realize that when bad teeth topic comes up (and they do come up) you arent gonna think "FVCK!" and look away.
You are smiling all the time, becuase even if someone dares to say something about your teeth, you can respond with "Hey, im working on it bro, leave me alone!"

Braces are a probelm only when u make them to be. If u clean them and brush your teeth, and work your game, you are set.


Lets see, before i got braces - couple kisses.

after i got braces AND CONFIDENCE . and realized that braces dont matter - Sex, 3 girls in my bed within 2 weeks, and fun times.

I had braces from Novemeber of my junior year in HS to 3 days before my graduation and hated every second of it.

Firstly, they make it a lot harder to eat and keep your teeth clean. You have to brush your teeth after eating anything, because 20% of what you put in your mouth stays in the braces. Get used to not smiling for a few hours after meals, or carrying a toothbrush with you everywhere you go.

Second, they had no long-term appearence benefit for me. My teeth were only crooked in the back, so my smile was fine to begin with and no different after the 18 months wearing them.

Third, they detract from your appearence significantly. Of course they don't make it impossible to DJ, but girls notice them and don't like them. The younger you are, the less negative effects they have, but I was one of maybe 5 kids in my senior class of 400 that had them. I actually had experiences where I would make eye contact with a girl, she would smile, and then when I smiled back and revealed the braces she started laughing. It really starts to get annoying after awhile.

Fourth, they are very expensive. Thankfully my parents paid for mine, but if you have to pay for them yourself that just adds insult to injury. If I was living my life again and someone had offered me $4000 (the cost) to wear braces for the last 2 years of HS, I wouldn't do it. Seriously.

I would recommend getting braces only if your teeth are so screwed up that you won't mind going through 2 years of **** to get them fixed. In any other situation, I just don't think its worth it.
