Tamales,

You're on a roll!! I like your tips and I know they're true since they reiterate what I already know and getting a woman's perspective on this is even more of a reinforcer.

Now I read your first message here about that latin DJ who swept you off your feet and all the while you knew he was a player and it made me think. So I have a question for you. I'll give a bit of a different perspective.

Suppose for the moment that this DJ did everything that he did to you that you enjoyed except the things that made you suspicious of him. And suppose for a moment that his intention had been completely different. Let's say he wanted to have a LTR. WHat would've been different? Would you not be on this board today?

What I'm trying to say is that if this guy was not a player and he didn't do any of the things that would label him a player but did all the other stuff, would that have been perfect for you?

Apologizing yields vulnerbility. In the situation of a DJ to a woman, why should he make it seem he is sorry? We all have our reasons, and I am stating on my personal and successful experience in DJing.

ps. I did like the small fry comment, it made me laugh. :D

A very good post Tamales. Its very rare that you have that kind of honesty coming from a woman telling it like it is, instead of the usual BS that most chicks feed to guys.

NO V- I am not writing a book or anything. I have a DJ on here that is I guess you can say, putting me through training. Boot Camp. But believe me I am calming down on my posts. I just had to get it out of my system but I am sort of done...I right now work from home but i am gonna be broke if I don't get some work done.

ANd if you don't care to listen to me then I agree don't. Take it or leave it but I have no alterior motives despite what some of you think. And looks don't matter. I think the point was everyone wanted to see if I was the real deal. I am.. Whatver..

Back to work!

Tamales,

Whoa.. calm down. I didn't ask to question your motive. I understand your frustation though. You have to understand that a lot of people on here are NOT dj's. You have to realize the MAJORITY of people here are people who are trying to learn, so they are the same people who are insecure, non-confident, neurotic, argumentive, annoying, etc. I will say that I suffer from one or more of those mentioned characteristics, but that's why I'm here. Trying to learn and get myself to where I won't have to be here anymore. You have to realize also that 97% of the things posted up here is B.S. and shouldn't be taken seriously. We get a LOT more B.S. posts than we do GOOD posts, simply because the MAJORity of the people on this community need help. Literally.

I want a DJ but one that wants to have fun and perhaps, a LTR, someone who is sexy, mysterious, confident and strong but not cruel. Someone who wants to laugh, learn and take life to the fullest with me..
This is a very powerful statement - especially since it's coming from a woman. Tamales also mentioned in one of her earlier posts in this thread (can't find it, there's too many) about adding just a bit of romance into it (too much will make him a pu55y). This is extremely important if a DJ is looking to become exclusive in a LTR.

The most important quality of Tamales is she has discovered herself thanks to this site. Many women go on throughout their lives not knowing EXACTLY what they would like in a man. They always give you that bull5hit "Oh, he's gotta be tall, dark, handsome, rich, nice, charming, bla, bla, blaaaaa."

Actually, I'll go one further - many women just don't know what the fvck they want in life PERIOD. That's why we DJs end up dating so many fvckos trying to find that ideal woman.

Tamales sets an excellent example of an "Ideal Woman". She has self-realization, therefore she knows what she wants. Any good DJ looking for a LTR who happens to come into contact with a woman like Tamales will instantly click with her, and the LTR will be a very meaningful and successful one.

A man has to identify the needs of a woman that require fulfillment before he becomes successful.

Sorry, I also couldn't resist this one. Who the heck is wildfyre? No matter I am not her. I can promise you that. And I have calmed down a lot and hopefully, my post will continue to dwindle. I have work to do!!

Thanks regardless of the welcome though. Honest. And I really like jakethesnakes posts and nor he nor Bungo Pony is my mentor. Not that it matters but just for the record. You understand:)

wow it's been a year

It's been quite a long time since tamales hogged the boards here, but this message is worth it bumping. Somehow I was thinking of tamales since I have her message saved. I wonder what she is doing these days.

Anyway, this message should be interesting to a lot of newbies and other guys too who never had a chance to talk with tamales.

Props to her for posting, because information is never complete without all perspectives.

However, to all the DJs, realize-

She does not represent the whole female population. She represents that one group that longs for a dominative, elusive, horny, and otherwise dull man. She makes no reference to personality, and stresses pussies and dicks instead. If you want a nice fling, a chick like her would be nice. However, if you are looking foward to conversations and deeper things, then her recommendations are probably not for you.

Be the person you are. Don't try to match the woman.

HAHAHA!!!

This happens so many times,

I meet a girl, she *****es on me, snobs me,

Three months later I, without knowing, try to f**k a girl, who turns out to be this girl's friend.. And read what I get to hear:

"I cannot do it... xxx's still talking about you!!!"

BYTCH!!!

Man, these girls are freaks...

Tamales is kind of right, but not perfect

About 95 percent of American women aren't this candid. About 99 percent of American women cave into DJism, but can't identify why. Tamales actually identified it.

However, there was an interesting article on this site (it was a Dr. Love one) where this DJ at an office was kicking butt with his attitude and skills. All the women said he was a user but they would still be attracted to a guy like that.

Most -- almost all, actually -- American women would rather be right and put down DJism and men then be wrong and admit it works and it's the only way to go.

Why women in this country watch sappy movies, read dumb romance novels, and view AFC TV shows, say they want a royal AFC pu$$-face like from these media venues, and then turn back and say men like that in real life are wimps.

It's either one or the other, you can't have it both ways.

Men know what they want in women and say so (it's usually someone shallow like Pam Anderson, but so be it), but at least they admit it.

I appreciate Tamales' candor, though it's not as earth-shattering as you guys make it out to be. She still had a falling out with the DJ and of course blamed him for losing his game. Women never own up ... perhaps there are two sides to the story. I think there is. It would be interesting to get his take on this. Can't believe all you DJ's fell for it, without being at least a little skeptical.

In the end, Tamales may be praising DJism, but did the old, tired American woman thing and blamed the man for the breakup.

Sheesh, that's not unique or new.
