Nice thread you guys got going here. The key, in my opinion, is to do stuff you enjoy, whatever it is, and whenever you want, yes even by yourself on a weekend night. Not only will it keep you busy, but will be very good topics for disscussion when you start talking to ladies, since they're always interested in someon who's interesting. These days playing guitar is takin' most of my "hobby time."

In fact, I was supposed to get together with a girl. She suggested a movie that she was originally scheduled to go see with her girlfriend, but the friend had things to do, so we made plans a couple of days ago to hang out; as we were talking today she mentioned she felt bad her friend was available after all, but she (my girlie) told her that she had already made plans with me. Off course, me always the great guy, told her to not worry, and suggested she go watch the movie with her friend. She wasn't sure I'd be ok with it, I assured her that it was fine, and recomended she call her friend and try to re-schedule her movie.

Off course, what she doesn't know is that I spend 4 hours at Guitar Center today finding the right acoustic guitar amplifier, and also got a mic stand, and a microphone. I couldn't wait to get home to play with my new toys. She has no idea that I would rather stay home and try my new stuff. To her, I am the greatest guy for stepping aside. Haha. This will happen when you are too busy with your own things/hobbies.

Its when I got nothing going on that I get sensitive about people cancelling or flakin'. Here are a few of the things that take up most of my time:
