I have this cool new suggestion. What if we have this place where all of the DJ's can sit around and talk to one another? They could help each other out with problems in REAL-TIME, and get to know each other better than they can on the forum! What do you think... I propose that we set up a channel on IRC where we can all interact...









Oh, wait - it already exists! Now get your butts off of the board and get into the channel!

i use it a lot, DJ chat consists of mainly just me and hotice plus the other odd person or 2 such as johnny football hero, squirels, and renegade which by the way i have not seen on for a long time so get your but down here, you to tyte eyes!

P.S heres an idea why not have a link to it on the site and genrally make people more aware of it, why not have the chat room as part of the website, that will draw a lot more people.

I used it way back in the get go, but no one could comprehend leaving the window open, now I'm not sure if I still have an mirc client. Oh well...

Can't you use a site with chat software loaded? Most users don't go on chat because they don't have IRC software, or else they don't know what it is.

Make it easier...set up a chat client on a site (or convince allen to use it for this site).

Way back in the day I set up a web based chat room that was very popular. Allen got the primo version for the site and it was extremely popular. So popular, in fact, that a few of the more badly behaved members used it to harass and imitate forum members. It was a very cool chat room, though. And to be perfectly honest...I can't stand IRC chats. A lot of people won't use them for security reasons. If the site were to have a chat room again, it should be one like before, that is easily accessible and doesn't require downloading anything.

The conversation in chatrooms always turns kind of weak. People get bored and start BSing about dumb sh!t. That's ANY chatroom.

I check in there every now and then, but it's rare anything comes out of it.
