I tend to agree with the Muscly Jerk to a point...as a competitive bodybuilder who's competed in AAU(yrs ago) and NPC, a few musings:

*First I don't know the fasination with tight fitting shirts. Sure, they make show some pecs, but I'm much more likely to wear slightly baggy shirts because you look bigger and if you have developed forearms, the short sleeves will accenuate the arms. Many a female have noticed this and come up and squeezed my upper arms. Somewhat baggy is great!

*The only thing close to tight fitting that I wear are XXL's Polo shirts and I have a ton of them. They compliment the physique w/o intentionally showing off

*Sleevless shirts--notta no!

*Theres a difference between tanks and muscle shirts. The latter has less material and are cut lower to show the lats, chest and upper back. Fitting places are bike riding on hot summer days, in the gym or when its just plain hot and your outside. Drawback: Yes some guys will give you the evil eye esp. if their GF/wife is present.

All in all, dress somewhat conservatively but do let them know you have something special under there! Don't act like you are a tool, be respectfull to others and you'l be fine!

That picture made me giggle.

If it made me laugh then i assure you there's a number of people at these places you go to wearing that are laughing.

It really does look gay and i don't just throw the word gay around in everyday conversation.

You shouldn't be questioning "why isn't it okay?!" you should just be accepting it. A woman shouldn't have to be sexually harrassed or gawked at when she wears a really low cut shirt to work but it happens so a smart woman would just not wear that crap instead of complaining about the unfairness of it all, which isn't going to change.

It looks gay when your hips are so fat that they are wider than your shoulders.

I mean tight clothes surrounds your BODY. You might as well say good looking men with great bodies are gay.

In Europe is quite acceptable.

And like I said - why would I care what MEN think? WOMEN freaking love it. I'm not there to pick up men!

Seriously, unless you are playing sport or slobbing at home, dont wear a wifebeater. They look ridiculous, no matter how stacked you are.

if guys are saying, "it's not fair"... then fvck them....

but that's not the reason why you should not wear that 24/7... you look like a tool that's trying to SHOW OFF.

showing off is ridiculous and makes you seem too eager to please and vain and possibly insecure.

but whatever.

if you're getting the action you want, and that's your purpose... who cares?

I own about 4 of these and I've got the physique to wear them.

I've yet have a woman give me the skank eye or have a guy give me a hard time about it. If anything I have to be careful when I wear them out when I shoot video abroad. I was in Panama once doing a party shoot at a crowded club and I was barely able to do my work because I had women hitting me up and guys asking me what my workout regimen was.

As I've always said, a great body is the best Peacocking. If you can pull it off, why not?
