[Crazy Asian]

Our society has changed so much over the years. For example, back in the day, "chubby girls" would be thought of as more attractive than skinny girls because it meant that they were wealthy enough to eat. I mean, out society basically forces what we view as attractive.

It's the fact that I've seen so many AFC's in my school that have girls left and right. Since girls are conditioned to think a certain way about romance by these books and movies, they begin to think and believe that that is what a perfect guy should be like. They have adjusted their barbaric views of attraction.

The reason being is that for the past week, i made a bet with my female friend that i would be nice to everyone for a week. (no making fun of people, no racism, just no being mean in general) And for the last week, i've gotten so many more people to like me. 3 girls that used to hate me, now talk to me alot, and now a gay guy has a crush on me (eww).

Now i'm NOT saying to become a total AFC and suck up to girls, but maybe just tone down that jerk attitude, and be real, down to earth, and genuinely nice.

yes i can tell if a guy is AFC most of the time.

my racism is ok though, i'm only racists against asian people.
i'm not REALLY racist, but i joke about stereotypes of certain races.

Anyways, society always conforms to what is made the norm. Look at fashion throughout the centuries, mating rituals, following of religion. You have two choices as someone who realizes how society follows the norm

1) Rebel against the norm
2) Learn how to make the society work in your benefit

I think OP made a good point. I've noticed more "AFCs" as defined in this forum, have more success than many people I know who follow the "DJ" tactics. However, I'm sure I'm drawing observations of AFC's success from a much bigger pool since there's so many AFCs and a lot of them don't have success too.

But I do think tactics can be misused and misunderstood. You shouldn't just read a tip or tactic, then apply it blindly in every situation. And I have noticed that women and men both have it ingrained in them by society how a guy is suppose to act toward women (funny how women don't have any requirements placed on them). People can get offended and label you a jerk, mean, arrogant or whatever. People are basically insecure and read into things and exaggerate their meanings. It's easy to over do it, and it's not bad advice to suggest tapering it down to a minimum.
