I totally get the idea of having a form of relief. But I also believe in become the best you can be, in whatever form that looks like,

An analogy of relief is like welfare. You need a proper job and have to look for one in order to improve your situation, pay your debts, and live independently. However, there are bills that need to be paid in the meantime. Then welfare comes like a state financial relief for some of those bills, etc.... The idea is just to make things feel a bit more bearable. So in this way, you don't look too hungry-eyed at women or start staring at women in public too much. 2. How social media, only fans, entertainment, porn, video games, woke ideology works, and how you get trapped into becoming a consumer (designed to steal your attention) and fall for false narratives which makes you weak and controllable.

Do you see these two as the same thing which overlaps or are they different views of what red pill and the matrix means?

#1 - #3 These are pretty similar, just depends on what part of the Internet you focus your attention. These are the opposite of Tomassi #4 in that they are dominated by Prescription rather than Description. They spend more time telling you"what to do" and try to label people as Alpha, Beta, SIMPs, Red Pill, Blue Pill, Purple Pill, Black Pill, White Pill, God Pill,...based on their beliefs or behavor.

#4 Tomassi's Red Pill based on the first 3 books was Description not Prescription. Only gave the data, didn't tell you what to do about it. This one could be father back than #4 due the age of the first book, but I based it off of when I think it really became popular which was later.

#5 Basically it was "Anti-Feminism" inspired to some degree by Cassie Jaye's documentary on the Men's Rights Movement and then carried on and preached by Candice Owens, the late Gonzalo Lia (Coach Red Pill or CRP), Blonde in the Belly of the Beast, Brittany Pettibone and many others. This had it's peak from 2015 through roughly the first year of the Trump Administration.

#6 This was more political. It was based more blatantly on the movie The Matrix. It was the rejection of the "Mainstream Narrative" (Media, Hollywood, etc) that corresponded to the false world of The Matrix, where one takes the Red Pill as Neo in the Movie did and sees the cold hard truth of the real world. This came to the surface big time in 2015 during the Trump Campaign before the 2016 election. Trump would have been a strong influence for the Red Pill side, with the Trump haters and the Media being the Blue Pill side (Mainstream Narrative). Two of the big popular terms with this was "Fake News" and Feminism.

I agree. Funny that even on this niche site we can't determine what RP actually means.

I like to call it re -pill (reality pill). Going on vacation to Sao Paulo with a fake phone is RP. Being overly friendly to a cop pulling you over is RP. Women are just a small portion of it.

I mentioned before that , for centuries only 40 % of men reproduced vs 80 of women. Yet, Boomer generation told us men we simply need to work and everything will fall into place. Combine that with the fact people keep getting older ,and a growth of the population and this is what happens. 60 % of men realize before being 30 their chance to reproduce is zero. Now you can hear these men, as they're unclear what's their role in this life if it's not to reproduce.

By the way, purple pill is imo a transition. Zung zwang ( chess term for being unable to make a move.). You know about female nature ,but are willing to take the risk and believe your woman is the exception to the rule. The addicted man who knows all the scientific evidence that the substance is a risk, but unable to stop it. Men turn purple while being in a relationship and finding out about RP.

Being aware of RP doesnt MAKES one RP. If anything, it probably makes a average man go blackpill. Like someone who knows all about stocks, but doesnt have the money to actually invest. Standing on the sideline, criticizing those who actually play the game ,while being fully aware they will never participate.

Then finally, I would like to introduce a new pill. Gold pill. This is being aware of RP, being able to live it ( top 20% er) but like @SmoothHendrixPS2 mentioned, not being salty about it. A independent man who can pull and push as he likes ,and being able to use female nature to his advantage.

From a strict standpoint of "Game" Redpill is simply understanding how women function, what turns them on, and understanding their cutthroat nature. I.E., women are not Disney princesses and you are not going to get a Disney ending because you are the White Knight in shining armor. Thinking that you endear yourself to women by white knighting is in effect blue pill and actually repels, not attracts, women. That is basic Red Pill 101.

I also agree with a lot of other guys in that it goes further than just understanding women and is a total mindset you need. Essentially, you focus on yourself and what maximizes your own potential for your own benefit. Not for women.

I'd say the scope of what I call red pill is take number 1, how women and game works. Take number 2 is watering down the essence of the red pill to include all sorts of things, many of which are basically just personal opinions or at best indirectly relevant.

The red pill is awareness that not all women are good and knowledge about how to defend against those who are bad to stay safe in the game. Most of what you mentioned in take number 2 is kinda on the sideline, it's not the core of the red pill mindset.

A lot of things are attributed to the red pill, but if you strip away all the things guys never reach a wide consensus on, what remains will be the core points almost all of us agree on to be red pill. It easily strips out the subjective such as personal opinions, political views, biases and whatever else crazy stuff individuals or smaller groups might believe. It leaves you with the essence of what red pill means.

The movie made it basically the modern version of Pandora's box. Once you open this box you will never look at women the same.

Also worth mentioning, is that the Cancel culture HATES RP. A society where redpill gets the upper hand most likely turns into some South American type of society, with many Alphas who dont wanna follow rules.

Some reasons why blue pill will always prevail:
- societal pressure; good luck talking about the RP when most men in your life are blue.
- reinforcement of believes via society; if you see below average dudes walking hand in hand with above average women, it reinforces your believe that blue pill isn't that bad..
- your" opponent "; the women in your life play a huge part . I was ,and probably still am bluepilled at heart(not in my mind). Looking back at my past LTR, my ex used to " comfort " me ( rungane on me) all the time. If I hypothetically would show her a A Tate clip she her would deny it, thus reinforcing my bluepilled believes.

On big forums you see alotta guys talking about how" lucky "they are "to be with the same woman for 10 years " and how they "wouldn't have a clue how date in this current environment "if they were single suddenly. I was that guy.

Untill the truth hits you like a truck and the redpill is forced upon you.
