Milk makes me feel like ass. Dairy products in general. Not lactose-intolerant, but Milk tastes lame. Very little "flavor" and I get the sh*ts if I drink too much. I'll stick with my lack of dairy.

We haven't evolved to be drinking all that.

apparently lots of people have a very slight lactose intolerance, which manifests itself in a slight bloat.....that's what my mate insists, anyways :p

B falsifies A .. you ARE lactose intolerant, just like a good deal of the world's population. lol. Would you get the sh*ts from eating a ton of steak? Nope!

I do not personally drink milk, but when i did i had protein powder http://www.vitaminshoppe.com/store/en/browse/sku_detail.jsp?id=OP-1011 which has lactase in it, meaning that you can drink milk with it even if you are lactose intolerant, and it will provide you with the necessary lactase to break down the lactose in milk that your body cannot produce.
I also drank the pink container of milk seen here http://www.skimplus.com/ It is fat free, and has 11g of protein, also high calcium, which will strengthen bones, and tendons, and in turn help your muscles. But also kinda high sugar. Total mixed drink + powder should give you about 35g protein, and about 220 cal roughly.

How do you guys feel about raw milk? I've been reading Ross Enamait's site a lot lately (www.RossTraining.com) and he advocates that we totally cut out pasteurized milk and stick to raw milk. I've wanted to try raw milk but I haven't been able to find a place to get it in my area.

Personally, milk causes me no problems. When I was doing the Rippetoe program I started drinking a lot more because he advocates a gallon of whole milk a day :)crazy: ) and the only problem I noticed was that I farted a lot more.

Kerpal - the farts is a sign you're not digesting the milk properly. The gallon of whole milk is advocated for scrawny teenagers as an easy source of calories, but there's far better ways of getting them.

As for raw milk, it's definitely better than pasteurised milk. Whole raw milk is about the only milk I'd go (and even then I probably wouldn't).

Can the same be said about not digesting tuna properly? I can have one can of tuna and fart for the next couple of hours.

It's not impossible. Farting, gas, stomach upsets, bloating are all signs you're not digesting your food properly, either through a poor digestive system (lack of fibre etc) or certain food intolerances.

If you digest the same amount of chicken, beef, pork etc as the tuna and have no problems then your body may well not digest tuna (or fish in general) well. Fish allergies are not unheard of by any means.
