Also, keep in mind, being overally smart will actually WORK AGAINST YOU.. i.e. cause you will pick up on signals really easily (i.e. a signal where you know she is not LTR material or, that she is not completely into you), which you have to not let bother you, i.e. if you were oblivous of it, you would just proceed with your thing and not put pressure or change your behavior and be the "fun" guy she enjoys hanging out with...

Naturals are usually not that smart, their usually just popular while at the same time don't give a **** about most people. Naturals a lot of the time are poor and good-looking or average looking and brought up really well.

They just have a strong sense of self-worth and so can resistant the urge to supplicate and know how to have fun with girls.

Smart people usually REALLY suck with women, that's where the words nerd and geek come from. In that case they are just really into their hobbies but for the street smart, the smarts you talk of. That really does work against you, you lose your fun and become jaded if you can tell what everybody is thinking all the time. It may work for selling cars or something, but not having fun with girls.

IMO it's the exact opposit, inteligent men think that everything have a reason and a solution, and they try to find a LOGICAL solution.

I have a friend who recently got a masters degree in psychology. He is great with all the textbook stuff and great at giving logical advice, but when it comes to women, he's a 25 year old virgin and women are totally creeped out by him because he analyses and tries to control them. The guy doesn't know how to relax and have fun.

Admittedly I was the same. I'm a Linguistic student and have studied a lot of NLP, so spent many years analysing and trying to influence women, only to find that was the very thing that scared them off.

However, there is such a thing as "social intelligence", and this is something that only comes with experience in social situations. It has nothing to do with reading, studying or IQ level, and some of the least academic people are often the most socially astute.

Smart guys like me used our heads too much when we were in HS. I remember that Id think way too much about how to get the perfect outcome or how to get a girl to like me. It was always the damn jocks that I saw with the hot babes back then....or the ones who had a lot of money from their parents.

Most naturals will never bother getting any better than they are and thats how I see their downfall if we continue to get better as a whole community. While I agree with what you're saying about the more successful in life being more successful with women, don't automatically equate being in college with being intelligent or getting a GED with being unintelligent. Most of the college age guys I know are complete idiots, whereas I got my GED when I was 17 yet I have a 148 IQ (genuinely tested, not the internet IQ test).

There are different types of intelligence as well. There is factual/reasoning intelligence and social intelligence are the ones most related to this discussion. If you are very intelligent in the first one, you are a genius, if you are very low in the first, you are an idiot. High in the second one, and you are charismatic, low in the second one, you are a sociopath.

I think guys who are highly factual/reasoning intelligent generally have a harder time getting with the girls to begin with, but then an easier time keeping them, while those who are socially intelligent have an easier time getting them than they do keeping them.

A lot of Oxford graduates, scientists, politicians and mathematicians are geniuses but are socially retarded.

Lol ..too funny. Yeh, many intelligent people are analysts and strategizers, deep thinkers if you will. It cause them to take things seriously, and that being women. Paralysis by analysis is often what the smart guy suffers before taking action with a girl he likes.

It's no wonder why Issaic Newton died a virgin. Smart people can learn charm and that is the way to go, because most are excellent conversationists and are walking encyclopedias. listen... being smart and being educated are different things... i.e. you can study for 20 years and be leading physicist/rocket scientist on earth, that makes you EDUCATED, but not necessarily "natrually" smart... i.e. go back to class room environemnt, you know which kids pick up stuff fast and which kids learn slower,.. even to be the top crack dealer on the corner you have to be smart, one sells more then the other cause of smarts... and if that same crack dealer was to actually apply himself for 20 years he probably could have been a way better physicis/rocket scientist... anyways.. when your sarging the quicker you are in picking up her signals and quickly comming up with a good responce, the better chances i.e. the better DJ you are... There is no such things as seduction. Either she likes or she doesn't. If you think you're seducing you're not. She wanted and would have anyway, provided you didn't turn her off. It's just a matter of getting to know her some and seeing if there is chemistry.

We're not talking a 'little above average' intelligence here (maybe you guys are DJN - Gator). I think some of us here were talking extremely higher than average intelligence. Most of these types are not in classes with girls and surrounded by women Gator ..because most are in engineering fields or computer science. These are the most complicated fields and require the highest intelligence ..i don't care what anyone here says. They are male dominated because they require the most logic, problem solving and consistancy. It's not to say that women couldn't be just as good at (as some are), but that's the overall reality of it. Too many women are in communications and emotion 'people' type jobs. First, define "Smart". Is it IQ? Most high-IQ people aren't smart, they're just good at doing IQ tests.

To me, smart suggests a man who is able to rapidly adapt to different situations, think fast and clearly, and be able to complete his objectives with minimal effort.
