Did she flake? How to proceed?

Had a great first date last Sunday. I call her up four days later (yesterday) asking her out for today and she agrees. She has to work at 5pm so we were going to hit the beach 12-5. I call her this morning to tell her where to meet me and we are still on.

An hour before we are supposed to meet up Cali is hit with a 6 second earthquake. She says she feels sick, and is getting a lot of calls to go into work. Apologizes to me asks to reschedule.

I can’t stand flaky women but I really like this one. Probably the most interests I’ve been in a girl in two years and this is coming from a guy that has been with probably 50 women in the last two years. Should I give her the benefit of the doubt based on what happened or delete her number?

I’m a 6’0 good looking guy with money not bragging but when you’ve finally “arrived” as a man you don’t like the idea of having to chase a woman. I feel like she should be pursuing me. I don’t like how she asked if we could reschedule without getting me specifics. I don’t like when a girl shows extreme interest (nervous to talk to me, feeding me oysters in public, jumping to my command and making out with me, complementing me) to flaking it makes me feel like she’s an airhead.

Funny thing is years ago when I made 50k a year, I could easily move onto the next plate if a girl rejected me. I could go play the numbers game at bars. Life was easy.

Once you get some money , your perspective on women changes. You get treated differently and become entitled. You start thinking like the very hot chicks you lust after. A girl flaking you or rejecting you just makes you want her that much more.

Love that :D
That also bring a very good point, a lot of beginners think that if they were bodybuilders or rich they would get all the women they want, which I think is completely untrue.
BUT ! it is true that once you have built all the foundation and are able to flirt/meet/have sex as you want, then having either the great looks or fat wallet is like a super charge

For what it's worth, my personal rule is 3 flakes:
- 1st flake: I let it go but try to understand the reasons
- 2nd flake: my patience begins to fade away
- 3rd flake: I don't care about the reasons, my time is valuable and I won't waste anymore with you (that's word for word what I test when that happens)

Tell her a little about yourself, but not too much. Maintain some mystery. Give her something to think about and wonder about when she's at home.

This is not a flake. I saw that quake yesterday on my phone via quakefeed app. Different time, and preferably evening, I hate day dates.
Perhaps it was my dumb ego thinking a girl would drive an hour to the beach to meet me for a second date before I even banged her. That was a poorly thought out choice on my end.

told her “this whole Malibu beach thing is kind of far, I say we do something a bit closer to you. This weekend”

No response yet but will keep updated.

Money has definitely changed my thought peocsss though. Usually at some point in a relationship I will sit a woman down and tell her my time is money and going out on a date is a big deal to me and they need to respect it.

Your logic is flawed. When a 10/10 chick is flaked on and ignored by a guy we all know what happens. The more money I make the more entitled I feel to any one particular woman. I ask myself “where is she going to go from here?”

When your broke, you know you don’t deserve her anyways so it’s easy to move on.

No more keyboard jockeying . Action is the place.
Men who have "arrived" (as you claim) will not lament or complain or write posts about women flaking on them. They will simply shrug their shoulders and move on to the next girl.
A quality all men should strive to have.

For what it's worth.... IMO.... as soon as you start worrying about what ONE chick is doing or not doing you are headed down the wrong path.

Now if this happens a lot then you might have a problem. It could be anything...
