The only thing that can explain this is that God hates me, God likes having fun with mere mortals, or it's just my day to bend over and take it up the butt.
You'll like this one. Here's the background threads:
It started with these two women, who are sisters:

Then I met these two women last weekend and managed to pick them up, expecting to eventually get the HB:

Now for the developments.
I just had an hour long phone conversation with the UG of thread #2. It was actually a totally terrific conversation! I suppose UGs have to have great personalities because they're, uh, UGs.
The good news is that she did not seem interested in pursuing anything with me. Our conversation was very much one of those things where we recognized we had a great amount of drunk fun together, and we had to do it again in the future, including her friend the HB. If she has serious plans with me, they were not mentioned during this conversation, and I honestly had no reason to expect anything more... it just wasn't in her voice.
More good news is that the UG was all for getting her friend the HB to meet up with me again at the same bar on Thursday night. I didn't even have to steer the conversation much towards that. So far so good.
In fact, everything was so far, so good, until right before I got off the phone with her. To block any possibility of her going for a date this weekend, I made sure she knew I was busy (cookout with HB sister #1 - thread #1 - this weekend). Very cool thing, the UG actually had the attitude of, no way anyway, I made plans to hang out with my own friend in Virginia. It looked as if things were set to meet up with the HB, and the UG was backing awaya bit.
Now for the bad news.
But then I subconsciously put together some of the info we had talked about during the conversation, and I realized, hey, the UG and HB of thread #2 both graduated from the same high school in the same year as HB sister #1 of thread #1, and a year before HB sister #2 of thread #1. Hmmmm...
So I asked the UG, "Hey, come to think of it, I'm going out this weekend with somebody who graduated with you... do you know HB sister #1?"
The response was overwhelming.
"Oh my God you know her??? We are such good friends, but I haven't seen her in soooo looooong!!!! You have to tell her I said hi!!! Blah blah blah!!!"
"Ummm... maybe you know her sister, HB sister #2...?" I was turning pale.
"Oh YES her sister is sooooo nice!!! She is sooo cool! How is she dooooing??? I would love to see them again!!"
Guys, I am completely lost as to what I am supposed to be doing. All four of them apparently know each other very, very well. Where do I go from here?
