i was having a debate with a good chick friend of mine about the definition of 'cute'. i say its often the 'mercy' compliment in that theres nothing else to say about you, youre not attractive but i dont want to call you ugly so ill call you cute!" she disagrees. she thinks it means atractive. but where her logic escapes me is my friend ian who is not sexually atractive in any way,she says hes 'cute/adorable'.

so whats your take on this business? when you are called cute do you take it as a compliment or like a mercy compliment?

I think one of my friends had it down to a science... just lemme see if I can remember it.

There were 4 definitions of attractiveness, Hot, Cute, Pretty, and Nice (I think)

Hot - Girls who have very nice physical assets, the mental aspect isn't always the best, however. 95% Physical, 5% Mental

Cute - Girls who are still looking good, but might have a little more upstairs than some of the hot girls. 60% Physical, 40% Mental

Pretty - These girls can still be quite attractive, but more so for their mental attributes than so much for the physical ones. 40% Physical, 60% Mental

Nice - These girls make good friends, much more mental attraction than phsyical 80% Mental, 20% Physical

--- It went something like that at least. When he wrote this all down there were examples of girls from our school for each of the categories, but obviously that doesnt really work here. So, yup thats all I got.

nice input

does this system work for guys too?

one of her arguments was that she'd call her boyfriend cute like say he was wearing a hat she'd say "oh you look so cute" and i was like =\...idk

I think there's a difference between Cute and Hot. A friend of mine, alot of people think she's hot, I think she's cute. I wouldn't touch her, not because she's ugly, but that's she's so cute. It's funny in a way.

I think the difference is: Hot = want to **** Cute = adorable...like a teddy bear ;)

Hmm, where to start, where to start?? Well i think this is kinda inaccuarate. Lets just say youre walking thru the mall and you see a hot girl. All of your attraction would be based on her apperance; therefore, you it wouldnt contribute her mental aspects of it. And it works the same way for all the other catagories.

The girls use cute. For instance some girl comes up and says "My friend thinks your cute blah, blah, blah."

yeah....there always seems to be a difference between a "cute" girl and a "hot" girl.

If you want to talk, talk to your friends. If you want a girl to like you, listen to her, ask questions, and act like you are on the edge of your seat.

In this Economy?
i find that girls that i find "hot" are girls with bangin bodies and they just have this look on their face that just tells you that they are an awsome lay

a girl that is pretty or beautiful to me has a very pretty face but her body doesnt stand out as much, she is probably more reserved in her clothing and just doesnt have those curves

then there are those brown-baggers that have awsome bodies but ugly a$$ faces

there is no physical description of nice becuase being nice is not a physical description, they are just average, ok, or ugly.

i tryed asking a girl this once and she didnt know, and i dont think that should surprise any of us.

my personal take on this...is girls use cute for anything they find even mildy attractive/amusing. BUT you might be able to tell HOW cute by how they say it...body language etc.

Tell her a little about yourself, but not too much. Maintain some mystery. Give her something to think about and wonder about when she's at home.

what about her tone?

It mostly depends on how she says it.

In the beginning of 9th grade, when i started this whole Dj thing, i was sitting at a table of 3girls, i was the only guy.

:)

So im sitting htere drawing and one chicks like

"ohh!" in such a voice like she just got fvcked doggystyle

so i look up
and another chick looks up
and then the first chick blushes and loks down, and the second chick is like

"hehe, i was just thinking about how cute he is too"
to the first chick. In the same, fvcked softly toneality.

So i just give them a polite smile, and they start blushing.

***

Im this sense, "cute" meant that i was a centerpiece, maybe not in the sense of "take me like a stalion"

but more in the sense of "puppy love" sweet love making all night long.

Her tone is what determines what she means, and how she acts around you.

Wasnt it already determined ACTIONS speak louder then words?

comeon DJ's, stop being so afc mindset.

i like that. i also have a femal friend who says, "Cute is little furry things that run into walls." i guess it depends on who says it as well as their body language.

My definition of "cute": young, innocent looking but somehow very fukable. She might have some little girl characteristics, whether its in her looks, or her personality. Reminds me of youth. You want to **** her, because she is just so damn CUTE.

HOTT!!: A woman with looks so stunning it makes you want to rip her clothes off and fuk her right on the spot.

Pretty: looks are good but for some reason she just doesnt do it for you.

Now, a woman saying cute. To really get what she is trying to say you have to see HOW she says it. Her tone of voice, etc.

If she twirls her body around in a 360 while saying "hes so ceeeuuuuuuute" then most likely its teddy bear adorable cute, and your living in a fantasy cartoon reality or an opera musical. :)
