The problem is, the time you waste thinking about canned openers, means you miss the chance to even greet any woman.

Whereas if you simply think "Say Hi", you wont waste time thinking while she walks away.
I think that he's looking for what to say after "hi" when he cannot observe anything from the situation to talk about. I call it fluff n build, but then again I like to go for the kill quicker than most guys would suggest. My theory is that a women decides if your dateable time she meets you. I know guys here are unrealistic, but think about how we judge women... We will not date the fat ugly girl because she ran the perfect line or said something funny. Women are just as shallow as we are. Attraction cannot be created, because we all have our own personal archetypes of what attraction is....

All that "be the prize" and "be a man" dogma only works when you know your true worth.

I just thought SOMEONE would have some advice on "not just being another chump"...
Within that statement lies the problem of a thousand men, and it all goes back to not knowing what you have to offer. It appears that you believe that you need to say something special or unique to spark a conversation. WHY? Women really aren't that speacial. Saying 'HI' doesn't make you "just another chump." You claim that you are fine once in a conversation, so why not open and jump into a conversation? This shyt isnt hard.

Be a man.:moon:

I know exactly where TommiV is coming from I pretty much have the same problem. My all round game is strong its just the icebreaker that needs working on. The only one I can think of is if a girl is dancing then get good eye contact and if the vibe is right go towards her and start dancing, ease you way in and start dancing with her. After the dance introduce yourself as the ice has already been broken and then you can start a conversation by complimenting her on her dancing and then you can go from there. Never go behind a girl and start dancing as they wont know who there dancing with and this might freak them out. But as for your other scenarios I think I need a little help there myself.

Opening lines have no bearing on women what so ever. You guys need to learn how to have an actual conversation.

Openers are keys to access through the door, not to attract a women. but if you have nothing to say afterwards, then you will get kicked out and once that happens, she will build a fence.

Peace and Quiet

If you currently have too many women chasing you, calling you, harassing you, knocking on your door at 2 o'clock in the morning... then I have the simple solution for you.

Just read my free ebook 22 Rules for Massive Success With Women and do the opposite of what I recommend.

This will quickly drive all women away from you.

And you will be able to relax and to live your life in peace and quiet.

Me personally I find conversation quite easy, I always have from a young age I can be very funny at times its just I find it difficult to know what the first thing I should say is. Once im in the conversation im usually pretty successful its just a case of knowing what to say on initial approach. I know there is no magic thing you can say to get a girl to like you. But just saying Hi is boring and doesn't leave you a lot to go on and chat up lines are ****. When it comes to conversation I find preparing for potential questons that are likely to be asked is a good way of preparing for a conversation. Knowone knows what you will be asked but certain questions always come up such as what do you do for a living or what are your interests. Whatever question you are preparing to ask you need to have an answer prepared for yourself as she is likely to ask you the same question back.

One more piece of advice. The way I would approach situational openers is by listing all the different situations you can think of and then coming up with a natural sounding opener from that. Examples of situations

You both have a mutual friend
If the bar is packed
If the bar is empty
If she looks bored
If she looks happy
If she has been approached by a lot of guys
If she is waiting by the bar
If she asks you for a light
If it is her birthday (i.e. The DJ has said it on the mic)
If she is drinking a certain drink
If she has a tan

Come up with an opener for all of these situations and you should be fine. I would post some of my own but I am still working on them. I know a lot of people will say its best to just go with the flow or you shouldn't need to plan them but I am a good conversationalist once I feel comfortable with someone i.e. if the vibe is going good. Also personally I feel more comfortable If I know what I am going to open with as I dont have to think about it all I have to worry about is keeping her interested which I can do because I am good in social situations.
