I haven't been here in ages, but I thought it would be healthy for me to start reading the posts in this forum more so that I can orient my mind towards my work out more. So I thought it would be a good idea for me to monitor my progress and keep a form of journal ... what do you know, it has already been done. haha

Goal: Get back to my original shape and break my last peak.

db press 80x8 x3
Cable flys: 75x8 x3
shoulders db press: 60x8 x3
db curls: 40x8 x3
tris cable extension: 145x8 x3
lats pulldown: 140x8 x3
wide grip pull ups, 15x3

and I need to work my legs ... hahaha, before I look like a lightbulb.

week I - day I.

db press: 55x9x8x7
incline bench: 25x7/20x7x6

I think I sprain my wrist, couldn't do incline db press

leg raises: 20/15/10
bench crunches: 15/12/10

Damn this sucks, I hope my wrist gets better tomorow or I might not be able to work out.

What exc can you do without using your wrist besides abs? it's pretty bad, I couldn't even hold a grocery bag with a dozen eggs and bread with my left wrist.

Instead of complaining about how weak you are, why don't you start doing some lifting? I mean, serious lifting. What's the point of doing leg crunches and raises, pulldowns and cable rows if you don't even squat?

How old are you? What's your height? 160 lbs could be good, if you are 5'7 or it could be bad if you are 6'0.

I'd add some compound excersizes in there dude. Squats...deadlifts, benchpress. There's only advantages to them.

You don't "work into it" You'll notice the best gains right off the bat if you go balls to the walls. If some psycho is hunting you down with a knife, and you haven't run in months, you don't ask him to give you a couple weeks to get into shape, you haul ass.

I haven't lifted for over three months, and I plan on getting into the gym here soon. What am I going to do when I get there? Balls to the wall my friend.

Where do you live dude? What you need is a workout partner. Someone who can help push you, so you won't quit so easily. You could either find somebody on here, or one of your friends to work out with you.

lol, noted. I'm guessing by balls to the walls you mean to go all out from the get go.

I haven't worked out properlly in basically 2 years. Over that period, there has been up to 6 months that I passed without working out more than 3-5 times (days, not weeks)

so I had to get back into the groove, or I will injure myself, which did happend.

That's the problem, I don't have friends that live in the neighbourhood, so none of them can work out with me, only Nishbuk and another friend lives close but they are at their uni's gym, and I can't join that.
