Well the thing with women is most have low confidence regradless of attractiveness. I'm talking to this HB9-9.5 right now and she rates herself a 6. So if your a good looking guy and act too intimidating the girl might think your not interested. The trick is to be confident and funny, with a bit of ****yness. At the same time you have to show some interest in the girl so she knows that your into her.
