What do you guys think of death?

Are you scared of it?

What do YOU THINK happens to someone after they die?

Do you believe in Heaven and Hell?

Anything else you want to add about death?

I personally AM scared of dying and i think that death is something that shouldnt of been, but it DOES exist, and it DOES bring sorrow and pain to millions of people every day, and i wish there was a way to make it stop, but unfortunatelly, there isnt, and probably never be a way to stop it. blah

Tommorw, your wrinkle will grow.
Your hairs will get GREYER.
You will get weaker.
Your height will decrease.
Your SPERM will go -- Viagra.
Your hair will go.
Your muscle will go.
Your tan will go.
Your looks will go.
Your friends will go.
Your woman will go.
Your ability to work will go.
Your sex will go.
Your sport days will go.
Your walking stick will knock on your door.
Your wheelchair will be at your next turn around.
YOU WILL NEVER EVER SEE THAT GIRL THAT YOU LOVE EVER AGAIN. YOU WILL NEVER SEE YOUR BEST FRIENDS AGAIN. YOU WONT KNOW WHAT THE ****. YOU WILL BE REMEMBERED FOR 1 DAY, THEN WHAT? DOES ANY1 REMEMBER THEIR GREAT GRANDPARENTS , NO? SO WTF, LIVE LIFE BECOME FAMOUS OR YOU WONT BE REMEMBERED FOR ****!!! AND WTF!!!

you have your DNA so why is a clone of you not you, they cloned a sheep it was a diffrent hseep that was biolicaly the same, but it is not the same sheep, the diffrence is its spirit. I never belived this stuff but am starting to accept it.

Your body and spirit are seperated at death and your body is no longer part of you, you will no longer be physicaly there. I belive this because of accounts of near death experinces, in some that hwere in the news people when they floated to the celling reported certain objects eg coins on a cabnit that could not have been seen from the floor but when they woke up the objects they could not have seen from where they were, where actuly there!

No one wants to punish your spirit and so you are only in a hell like place till you can accept other people. It is not a place of fire, it is a place where you experince hate untill you can experince love. I cant go on as any further then this would be only what i think and not what i have some reason to think.

It sounds hard to bleive and i do not belive it 100% but as i read on my beleif starts to swing in that direction, maybe there is a spirit why else can a body that is complety identicle biologicaly still be a diffrent person and why can a bunch of cells which are nothing, have emoticans what ever that is (although biological computers could show otherwise once more work is done on them i think they could be the make or break point)

i can not fix a percentage on to how storngly i belive this, it is just an ever strengnthening feeling, sure it could be a scape goat for me but i work on facts i belive in sceince not evolution and once there is proof i belive, like witht he coins mentioned earlyer.

Its hard to comprehend but now think of all the colours, try and think of a new colour that does not exist, that is like comprehending life after death.

there are explenations for near death experinces which is why im not completly convinced but the evidence is substantial so rather then beliving in nothing and having uncertanty maybe there is somthing, now i am the other way around i belive in it but have a doubt in my mind that maybe it does not exist.

anything we feel through are body is felt by the mind so to rest my fears (and yours tommy) about the absence of a physicla body, those same feelings can be found because the physical body is a triger of them, they could be trigered still in a purer version.

i remain hopefull yet sceptical.

Death is the great equalizer...Shakespeare noted this in Hamlet with the "Alas, poor Yorick" speech. Even the great rulers of the Earth and wealthiest of the wealthy end up as bones, dust, and dirt (except for Lennin who's still on display in Russia, but whatever).

That said...I don't fear death. I'm more afraid of not being happy, not enjoying what I'm doing, and being bored.

firslty what you said does not really address the post and secondly, i just realised that a poet we studied in english lessons last year totaly ripped of shakespear, i dnt know his name but i rmember the poem is called death the levler, so you can check it on google he says how, the poor and the great kings are all the same in the eye of death and will all be equal in death.

I'm no expert, but I think him asking what we thought about death and me saying what I think about death works. But hey, that's just me. I might be crazy or something...

At the brink of death you'll black out..

then when you "wake" again, you'll be floating in the hospital room staring at your body lying in the bed.

The heart monitor flatlines and the doctors rush in. They try very hard to revive you to no avail and they pull the sheets over your head.

Then you float away into the unknown as the view of your body fades away over the distance...

The End

And how in the world would you know all this?   Please explain...

Otherwise... My view on Death is that its there, and what happens AFTER death, WILL happen, no matter if we KNOW what will happen after we die or not, watever DOES happen to people that die, WILL happen to us, no matter WHAT it is that happens.... there is no way that we can escape death, nor can we stop death from happening... so i say live life to the fullest, and enjoy every moment that you DO have on this earth, and make the most of it...

This wasn't meant to be completely serious anyways.. it was a combination of my imagination and accounts of people who had near death experiences.

oh... ok.. well i'm looking for serious responses in this thread, but thanx anyways... I also saw a documentry of people that were near death, and they explained it to be all nice and peacefull and colourfull etc, but i think that its just they THINK they see because thats what they picture heaven to be like... but all it is in my eye's is a dream that seems to be real, much like most dreams that are dreamt while people are in a deep sleep. what u guys think?

When you die...you die. your brain stops getting oxygen, everything goes black, and its over. actually i'm glad that there's death in nature, without it earth would be a mess.

Why does there have to be such a thing as "birth".. why cant all the ppl that are on this earth now just stay on this earth forever? i mean.... why do we need the cycle of life and death? WTF!!?      Sometimes i dought that god is as perfect as people make him out to be! .. ok.. this subject is a bit touchy for me, i dont know why, but i have always in a way "hated" god for making such a thing as death.... but ya.. thats just me i guess.....

im just curious...if you believe in god, do you also believe in heaven and hell? if i knew heaven and hell were real i definately wouldnt be afraid of death; but right now i feel the same way as you about it, it chills me that one day im not gonna be here, and never will again. the lesson is to make the best out of every opportunity before its too late
