Today I saw the most beautiful girl I've seen since I met my last girlfriend over a year ago.

She was shopping with her mother and they walked by the bistro I was seated outside at no less than five times. The first time they were on the far side of the street but the girl was so stunning I left the restaurant and walked 1/4 mile to hope to cross paths, but missed her.

Later they walked by again.

I was literally going to ask the mother to sign a permission slip to let me pay her daughter for a photo shoot as they walked by for the last time. I would have let momma be present.

However, the mother flexed her shoulders, put her sunglasses on, and made a hard turn to c0ckblock me just as they were about to come within earshot. Meanwhile, much to my amazement, the daughter twirled her hair and smiled at me as I waved to her, and she waved, as her mother grit her teeth and clenched her fists.

Mothers, as much as you hate the idea of men your age looking at your daughters, keep in mind those men (unlike the boys her age) are the movers and shakers of the world. They might be producers and photographers, and you might have just cost yourself the opportunity you hoped for your whole life. Nice going, thunder thighs.

I don't think an actual producer or photographer would slink around and hope to "cross paths."

He'd approach directly, introduce himself and hand over a business card, knowing they would go home, check out his website (and all of the other successful models who have gone on to modeling careers because of said photographer/producer) and then called and book an appointment.

I'd say mom's spidey sense was pretty accurate in this case, thunder thighs or not.

Usually girls are approached through scouts from modelling agencies and then the agency corresponds with the photographers etc. That's how it works for legitimate paid modelling work anyway..

Oh and the scouts are always female. (I used to work at an agency)

I just ran into the HB8 21 year old bartender who was working today when the mother and daughter walked by. I told her the whole story at the time, pointing to them. She's met some of my dates and has seen my portfolio.

Anyhow, she called my name and ran over and hugged me at the mall where I ran into her. I never realized she had a crush on me until now.

I'm doing another photo shoot tomorrow. 1950's theme at a vintage candy store. I'll post more reality/fantasy photos then.

PS - The average photographer makes $61,000 per year. I was making $40,000 per month for a while, working on camera technology.
