dealing with jealousy/insecurity

i know this gets brought up alot.but i just dont know how to get over it.its like everywhere i go,people seem to be with someone.or meeting someone.why am i not? do i not try enough? you know? and its more than being single and everyone else isnt,i mean,i see people moving on and succeeding in life yet i feel held back.thats another thing altogether.wel maybe jealousy is too strong a word,more like,why am i like this? and it is my own fault somewhat for not trying to change/improve things sooner.im just starting to feel that,and it sucks.so what do you do to deal with these feelings when you feel this way?
