so just kinda went out w someone who is taking a class im in.. it was only for an hour to get coffee (bc of scheduling), and there was no way to really escalate in any major way .. but she was extremely talkative the entire time (way more than usual in class), and suggested another place for us to meet next time. definitely learned a LOT about her.

I'm not 100% she's even into me like that, bc she mentioned something about liking a certain type of guy (physically which im not) and was super appreciative I paid for coffees (which is odd + she said she'd pay for it next time) but might as well pursue it till then.

do people have advice on super talkative girls? could barely get a word in the entire time, and only seemed to work when I just interrupted what she was saying and changed to a topic that was more relevant to me. was surprising bc normally when it's not a private setting she's definitely not as talkative so I was surprised

Learn to nod a lot to keep the talking flowing.
If you need a pause, say, "I bet I can win in Awkward Pause" and get her to compete with you in not talking.

I find chatty girls the easiest to interact with.

What I've noticed as a common characteristic of these chicks is that they're usually anxious about something.

This can be a good indication of attraction from their side.

I wouldn't worry too much about her comments regarding the type of man she likes. Girls like this often say things impulsively. On the next date, if you bring up something she mentioned before, she might respond with, “Did I say that?”.

Focus on leading up to the next date with action.

Was there ANY flirting as far as either of you explicitly saying you liked/are attracted to the other?

I'm seeing some POTENTIAL red flags here;
  • Her describing her type, which is NOT you
  • Talking too much without being prompted. Chatty is one thing, but if the conversation is completely one-sided and she has no interest in learning about you then she might not see you the way you're hoping
  • Being overly appreciative of the fact that you paid for the coffee. To me, this means she might not consider this a date

I attempted a bit of “us” me and her frame but nothing overt.. im seeing her tomorrow so ill def do some brief flirting.

number 2, no she for sure stopped herself a few times and asked about me. A lot of really positive comments about me.. but was surprised how chatty she was.

number 3, I def agree with but at same time it was just a coffee. She also had an entire idea for us to do next time (go here, get this, then go here after). I think it’s just her personality type,

but yes, in general I def need to at least start throwing out idea of me liking her more overtly and seeing where she stands or might view me

it was tricky bc I’ve known her a few months from class and this was first time we’ve hung out 1 on 1 and was way more chatty than I assumed she’d be

No you don't need to "talk" about how you like her...she already KNOWS that's why you were out with her.

Show her that you like her thru your actions, not your words.

Give her a hand massage and tell her that your fingers feel even better on her back...

Her being talkative it's a good sign not a bad sign.

It's high interest.
