I realized I was spending too much time on Facebook so I decided to deactivate my account. Gave it up for Lent so it's been over 2 weeks now, and I'm so glad I made this move. I live in a state of blissful ignorance of what other people are doing, and it feels marvelous.

My only concern is-

How much does Facebook and other social media increase your value, or perceived value to women? Specifically, would the lack of a Facebook account make you look more mysterious to women, spinning their hamster wheel wondering about you since they can't see information about you, or would it possibly make you look uninteresting, like you have no social circle?

Also, what about girls who you've dated in the past but have fallen off the radar? Would removing a platform they can utilize to check up on you from time to time make them wonder about you more, or would it put you further out of their mind?

Regardless, I don't know if I'll ever go back to Facebook now, feels great being off.

Ive been off it for like 2 years dont miss it at all, relentless attention whôring and self promotion.

That being said it does close some avenues with women (i dont think u can use tinder without it either), and you lose track of some old friends. As you mentioned it can add or detract a good deal from your perceived value with women as well.

All in all a huge positive though.

Ask yourself what would happen if Flakebook disappeared overnight? What would everyone do then? Find another app to attention wh0re off of? Or completely fall apart or get over it?

If a chick determines your "value" or "forgets" about you due to you deleting Flakebook she either wasn't too into you to begin with and or she's a virtual attention seeking nitwit that you're better off without.

Yeah that's a valid point on a chick determining value via FB.

On the one hand it's nice to stay in contact with family and some friends on there, but it's just too distracting and annoying with all the validation seeking behavior and posts.

Glad I got rid of it, and won't be going back anytime soon. I mean I have hooked up with some chicks because of Facebook in the past, but the way I see it, people were getting laid way before it arrived so it's not like it'll hurt too much.

I wrote Facebook and most social media about three or four years ago.

One of the best decisions I've ever made. It's a waste of time and a stupid rat race for attention.

Well for a very long time I didnt use facebook at all, recently I started using it again to chat with aquaintances and girls too but ye I notice the stupid ****s too for example this old friend of mine, a girl, I saw her we smoked some weed, I asked her why she invites other dudes at her place while her man is working, she says its k with him (shes rich and not quite good looking so maybe hes just using her IDK), but see the next day she adds me then posts some stupid selfie when she didnt have any before that Im like wtf?

I added her boy too **** that **** I aint going into drama.

I also see the stupid selfie hoes and orbiters posting ***** comments below the pics. Its the most stupid thing.

I also see pics with food, I see people pressured to go out to a bar, just so they can take a pic there and post it to not look antisocial :D

And shoving whats happened to you in form of pics in everyones face - no thanks thats pure bad manners and narcissism I wont go there.

Lol, the peer pressure is high, but its still the best tool to help you play the cassette tapes, since all the hoes is there, but you gotta approach it correctly. I have only like 2-3 pics, and post only good music, couse nothing describes a person better than his taste in music, + I get to teach some fools good music couse poeple are dumb.

I also never like female pics and generally rarelly press the like button, only when someone post some stupid ridiculus **** :D

Its all good, depends how you use it.

I don't have any of them. And I closed my match account too. All attention whoring look at me my life is so interesting crap. I see people updating their facebook status in restaurants, people taking selfies like it's their job, and nimrods taking pictures of their food with their phones. Fvck that sh*t, I want no part of it.
