Your debating with the guy and you haven't even seen a few videos of the incident?
It's you're, and of course I did, I said I looked at every image I could Google and I've read a lot of reports on the incident.

The whole quote where you pulled your nonsense from:

I don't know about anyone else, but I can't see sh*t and I have watched the video. I don't think you have.
Watched and looked at a lot of media on this. I stand by my evaluation of it and maybe you should contemplate this quote:

"No one could confirm that he had said his name or shown anyone a badge, but many people said that he was Detective Bailey.

At that time, he strode over to the crowd at the northeast corner and said, 'When backup arrives, I'm having you -- and you -- and you -- and you -- arrested.' He pointed to four individuals standing around me, all black males in their young 20s who seemed to be there together. He was not wearing a visible badge nor did he present one. Apparently, these guys had thrown snowballs at him."

  • No one could confirm that he had said his name or shown anyone a badge, but many people said that he was Detective Bailey. It's highly unlikely that NO ONE could have confirmed this, more likely (but less dramatic, and this guy is a bona fide drama queen) no one standing within a few feet of where the reporter was standing could confirm it. So apparently SOMEONE, likely several, had seen a badge and he'd identified himself. He was not, however, running in circles holding his badge over his head. If you look at his demeanor, the fact that everyone in the crowd seemed to know he was "Detective Bailey",
  • 'When backup arrives, I'm having you -- and you -- and you -- and you -- arrested.' ....and the fact he's calling for "backup" and have people arrested ... well there are people stupid enough that they can't add 2+2, but I'm not one of them. If this person was that curious they could always ask to see a badge again.
  • Some images show what looks like a badge to me on his coat.

I still say the riot needed to be stopped and he did that.

Dude images and videos are two different things.

In the future I'll be sure to list the correct MIME identifier for each media stream I view so you can approve the list.

I particularly liked how the rioters were saying "**** you pig" and then claiming not to know he was law enforcement. Disingenuous. Also the end where the punk says in a very pouting little spoiled turd voice ".... ruin our fun."

What a dolt.

Go to a park and have a snowball fight, that's what public parks are for, fooling around. City intersections, not so much. Tards.

I've never seen a riot with snowballs. It's called a "snoball fight" and the cop was just a big baby about it. Now its in his right to have the four individuals arrested, it is NOT in his right to randomly pull out a gun against unarmed persons on the street.

Also, what kind of identification is that? I'm with the protesters on this one. No badge, no papers = no identification. Any random thug on the street with a gun can claim to be a detective.

Hell, you can call me Detective Smith from now on if that's all I need.

He was not wearing a badge. That was the logo on his jacket. It says "The North Face" and you can see this at about 4:15 in the OPs video. If you can't find it, I'll post a screenshot.

Sure, and driving really really fast is called a drag race; you can do it legally at the proper venue, but it's another example of an activity that's proscribed in a public intersection without proper permits.

As I said, if they want a snowball fight go to a suitable place and have a safe and fun time.
