Cases you've sighted make some sense, generally speaking. However, ALL males over age 40 that I'm friends with or related to, looks good enough to tag ANY 20 year old girl, money or not.
The next question one must ask, is what does a woman in this modern age of equality bring to the table aside from baggage?
Not bytching, but in all honesty, can you see why men end up resorting to only casual dating?
I know some guys only "talk" about improving and being worldly, and some "do it". For those that do it, we ask, why do we spend the time with a woman, for anything other than a good time at the expense of her looks? It's the age old question in business called "Unique Selling Proposition." Why should I go to you, versus someone else?
If hot girls truly have the pick of the litter, then she'd have the pick of all hot rich guys, so in time even she'd bore of 1 hot rich guy and jump to the other. HOWEVER, time being against her, even she will attempt to settle down so as to secure her place and safety.
All we normal men ask of women is to take as much interest in us, as we do them, and as much care of themselves as we do ourselves. Generally speaking, the brazen and cavalier attitude of hooking up is a biologically-based instinct. But as we rise above our natures to higher levels, promiscuity might not be as intentioned as it once was. There are many facets of our being dying off and being more dangerous.
For instance, promiscuity was NECESSARY because mortality rates were high for children, because the rise of power was important to viability, and protection of resources and family was of the utmost importance. A woman couldn't commit to a weak man for fear her children would be at risk, hence why she'd sleep around and be courted by only the best men.
Today, such behavior is dangerous. With incident of STD's on the rise, AIDS, rape, abortion, jumping from bed to bed is more a risk NOW, than it once was. So while many herald "it's in our genes!" It was...but because of societal factors it should, or is, dying off. Not to mention, the viability of a child is almost guaranteed. What is NOT guaranteed is the health and welfare of the child. NOW more than ever, children are being born into broken homes, to young children, and to poverty stricken families, placing restraint on people to be more cautious about with WHOM and WHEN they have children.
There's no guarantee on a widespead level that younger women desire super older men, but on the whole, the sexes reach their respective "biological clock periods" at different stages. Women, generally mid to late 20's. Men, generally late 20's to early 30's.
