Being asked out for a 2nd date by her. She has kinda been turning me off through the little texting we've done since the first date a week ago, when she told me she's an alpha female and a tough cookie. For instance she said I gave her an insulting compliment about a bikini pic she sent me. I didn't even respond to the accusation and basically wrote her off and deleted her number. But I just saw she just texted 4 hours ago asking for a second date when I was out hiking.

I don't like this alpha female nonsense. Never dated one. So don't even know what that means. She said she doesn't like men that let her walk over them. So how is she sn alpha if she wants the dude to be the alpha? Doesn't even make sense. I'm definitely not looking to be some beta boyfriend. But I don't feel like butting heads with some 115 lbs chick trying to alpha up on me.

Just another woman that doesn’t know how to at least be a moderate quality one… or she’s severely damaged and wants to feel like she’s in control of the situation…
Her Alpha explanation is her ruse and charade. Don’t buy into it…

f*cking run, run the other way. I'm not competing with her for a spot to p*ss, unless of course I'm allowed to give her a solid beat down when she steps over the line. Otherwise, it's her using the long arm of the law to walk all over you. No thanks, not interested....

There are no alpha females. If any of them believes they can be alpha, they just too far on the manly side of things and unless you're a soft beta with feminine attitudes, you will be turned off by these types.

it really means you can prepare yourself for many disagreements during the course of your relationship. Peace will not be found with this one.

PBS = Plastic Balls Syndrome. A women who thinks she is actually "tougher" than a man. I honestly cannot think of a bigger turnoff in female behavior. Would rather date a Cluster B chick. At least they're mostly feminine.

This woman has no clue how unattractive her behavior is. You should tell her and then delete her contact info. It may help her.

I had a date with s girl like this, miss independent. She asked me out and was like cmon let’s go have fun and blah blah. Never again, everything she said was about how she’d date a guy and he’d disappear after a month time after time. RUN........,, damaged beyond repair

Agreed! Went out the lady this weekend and her co-workers were there. One, being a 60+ single, overweight and unattractive. Just making small talk and ask, "how do you know everyone here?" She looks at me like "really?" and says "I am the assistant principal!" at their school. While I didn't mind chatting with this lady, there is nothing attractive about her personality. I would think these women want a man that is basically a pvssy, a big fat pvssy, that will be ready at her beckon call. Big turnoff attitude wise.

In my experience, "alpha women" are usually a result of some early damage in childhood. They then put on this huge front for the rest of their lives and wonder why they can't get a man.

They can get a man, but no matter how dominating a woman has grown up to be, she is still a female and she will want to be dominated, led and guided. She can play around with some beta guy or sometimes they even marry and have kids, but I think they never feel right or feminine leading things at that level.

It's a sh*t test to see if you bend over backwards when confronted with her allegations of being dominant. Basically, she's saying you'll be her *****. You either accept or decline.

@lizardking82 has good advice in the post before this one.

I dated one of these self-described alpha females. lol.

By female standards yes, she probably was. In many facets of her life she was. She was very rational, not very emotional, and independent which I liked. But she liked things her way and wasn't a great compromiser. She accomplished a lot in her career and was the executive vice president of her company.

Underneath the "alpha" façade was a fragile, insecure female that needed validation. She struggled with finding her place in her personal life. She was caught in between playing the role of submissive girl that most guys want and the one that read too many articles about girl power. Definitely was not a very nurturing personality.

In the bedroom she was most submissive, but I don't even think she was happy with that. There were a few times she wanted to play a dominate sexual role and had a tough time doing so and complained about it afterwards. She wanted to be the one in charge, but I didn't go for it.

The men she had the longest relationships with were highly beta! That tells you a lot.

Update
She texted to confirm a date. I called and set time and place. She agreed. Next day she texted an hour before with a link to a different place and said ti meet her there. I said no thanks my place was better, goodbye. Blocked her number.
I think my tolerance level is basically zero now. I remember the days when I was young and I would try to maneuver through chit like this. I'm so numb to dating games and women in general now. Not sure if I'm defeated, burned out, or actually just stronger now with age and experience. I mean this could have been an overreaction, but I just simply lost interest when she sent that link.

The thing about these girls they never notice their actions are emasculating, they've been bossy all their lives and people around them are too intimidated to call them out on it. That's why these boss lady types are always single, they always on a mission to prove they can also do whatever men can do. No man likes being around that.
