Dating the older women.

Guys,

Just need a bit of advice or motivation to dating the older women. It seems lately i'm attracting many girls that are 2-3 years older than me. It seems so ridiculous that i'm typing this but i'm not 100% confident in dating the older women, and we all know less than 100% confidence is not a good thing.

So, tips to gaining the right mindset? Stories or advice or different ways to looking at this situation which can change my perspective?

I think it is the feeling that i'm not the older, wiser, more successful person in the relationship. I did a quick search and the only advice i could get was to ensure you stand up and be a man- which is could advice, but not entirely useful.

Has anyone else had these experiences? I've usually been the older person in the relationship or we have been the same age.

Fuss over nothing? Give me a useful kick in the pants with some sound advice?

You lucky bugger! This is all good for a couple of reasons.

They usually have jobs by 22/23 so can pay their own way. They usually will have been around the block a couple of times so are much better in bed (26/27 is where they really start to take off though).

The difference in maturity between a 20y.o. and a 22y.o. is not as great as you might think. You don't all of a sudden get to 22 and become this all-wise all-knowing person. Many of them will be quite mature in that they have a better idea of what they want, though they still are in many respects, little girls who like a strong guy to make them feel secure. Its hard to generalise because everyone is different.

The best thing I can think of is, don't let them boss you around. You still need to sometimes/always take the lead just like you would a younger girl. Women of all ages appreciate it when they don't always have to make the decisions on where to eat, what movie to see, which club to go to, etc...

1. Don't make anything age related be the topic or focus of any conversation. It will always keep it at issue in the forefront of her mind.

2. Do not show 'needy' character traits. She wants to be your GF, not your mother.

3. Don't pretend to be anything you're not, do not embellish your experiences.

4. Be confident in your actions, get into the mindset that you are the same age as she.

5. Always be in control of your actions.

If you think about it, all of these tips should be used with all women in general.

In relation to the thread I started, older women tend to have emotional baggage, so probably good for a short fcuk, but don't expect anything more from the lying, cheating *****s

This can be true at times, I have seen my best relationships are with older women. For me, I don't consider them older unless it is more than 5 years. I just make sure that I'm not the first guy that they have dated after a LTR. Those are the guys that get the brunt of the emotional baggage.

uhhh every woman seems to have baggage and if you consider "older to be 22-23 then i sugest you give the HS forum a visit.

its not that much different when going for an older woman.

too many people change their "mindset" or attitude when going for something different.

all i can say is that you should ask their age first. i got screwed over big time when they found out i was 2-5 years younger then them.

"OMG...your 18 but you look sooo much older...are you sure?"

"DAMMIT!"

i think though that woman conceptualize a difference in a man between 18 and 20.

besides some woman got that mrs. robinson attitude going on.

even at a relatively young age i always found myself more attracted to older women and always held great conversations with them.

I'd like to say "be mature" or "drop the ****y + funny sh!t" but that is just who i am, and that is the reflection of my own success but if you are you, you should do fine.

My experience, and those experiences of my buddies, have somewhat indicated that an age difference of under 5 years has never been much of an issue. More than that is usually a different ball game.

At 18 I was dating a woman who was 21-22. The relationship played out the same as any other, and for reasons I have still yet to figure out, my friends thought I was THE player for it. The only difference was that she had a steady job, a new car and didn't hang out at the mall. Maybe it was the car....I dunno.

My buddy (18 too), on the other hand, was tapping a 35 year old nurse aroud the same time. She bought him all kinds of sh*t and just wanted sex, no strings. And I thought HE was THE player for it.

My relationship with the girl ended because I didn't want to get into a LTR.

Anyway, neither me nor my buddy had to act, dress or do anything differently to score in these situations. All you have to figure out is who wants the LTR and who wants to just f*ck.

There's an unbelievably hot secretary at my office (she's the personal secretary of the big boss) who I have flirted with quite a bit. I'd do this woman in a second because she personifies those hot women who age unbelievably well. She's probably mid-30s or maybe even a little older, who knows, but her body is like that of a 20 year old, and her face is so H.O.T. Many of the older women at the office flirt with me like crazy, and most think I'm cute, probably because I seem so innocent and sheltered (this seems to work like a charm, by the way, even though I didn't intend anything by it). The key is to show that as innocent as you are, there is a side of you that isn't so innocent that you're trying to hide. You have to be naive, but know that you're being naive.

There's this one lady who's married that always teases me for being so innocent, and I always come back by affirming that I'm a "good boy", so don't try to pollute my innocent mind with bad influences, said with an innocent sarcastic tone. Makes them chase you even more, and they always try to drag you to places with them, and you of course can go, but do it reluctantly .

Oh, here's another thing, is it seemingly more acceptable for a younger girl to date a much older guy than an older girl to date a much younger guy?

I think that the younger-girl scenario seems more common based on the fact that girls seem to mature faster than guys, so they are sometimes more compatible with older men, whereas if younger guy is with an older woman, it seems like it's more because the broad is just out for sex, and so is the young guy, so it's like a joint venture.

Man, most people dont mature at all...Ive met girls that are 4, 5, 6 years older than me and they act like they are 15, there are dudes that are the same way....Thats why you shouldnt feel intimidated by them, cause they might have more money than you or whatever, but on the inside most of them are the same girls from years ago...
