One of the coolest things about being a DJ is that we don't have anything to prove, we can let our action speak for us. Social proof is nothing more than the need for appoval and it isn't necessary if you are "in the zone." There's no need for appoval because you know by the positive experiences you have that you are doing what works and you could give a d@mn about whether or not anyone else agrees with you.
