"For those of you reading this that know a thing about economics or have watched the news have heard ideologies such as socialism and capitalism quite often. Basic knowledge will tell you that the USA is an example of a country that supports the capitalist ideology while Western Europe goes to the socialist ideology. Using this premise alone we will see the difference in the dating market between the two places, for Western Europe we will put more emphasis on countries other than the UK.
The basic idea behind Capitalism is that it is a winner takes all type of system. A small number of people benefit and get ahead while a large number (the majority) are left behind with the hassles of life which include having to go paycheck to paycheck and worrying about making the payments and putting food on the table. Life for the small number of Americans (investors on wall street, highly paid doctors, rich businessmen, etc.) is better than life for a man who lives anywhere else in the world because of the respect America has retained in history and does even now (despite what others may tell you). These small number of Americans have the best houses that only kings in other countries can hope to have, the nicest cars, the best opportunities for their kids to go to top universities here (which are the best in the world), and I can go on and on about this.
Capitalism also reflects itself in the American dating scene. You have a small number of women from all kinds of varieties available to you (hot women of all ethnic backgrounds and such) and attractive women in the US are generally more attractive than attractive women elsewhere due to having more resources to help their looks (just like the top colleges in the US are better than the top colleges in other countries). Yet, getting with these attractive women becomes an uphill climb. In reality, only a select number of men have the resources and capability to get with these women and these men are luckier than men anywhere else in the world because they have such a variety of women in front of them. On the flip side, the majority of the other men have to pick up the scraps, the plain janes, and the bland looking women. To make matters worse, this results in a large number of single and sexually frustrated men who lash out and blame feminism for their lack of success (eg: Roosh V and his forum members).
Simply put, the top tier guys in America (USA) are living better than top tier guys anywhere else in the world but the bottom tier men are worse off than men in most countries.
Now we will get into socialism or as many call it, “distributing the wealth”. Socialism is the ideology in Western European countries which emphasizes profits being distributed among society rather than on the individual. Wealth is redistributed to give everyone somewhat of an equal chance to succeed. On average, you would see that the average person in Europe lives better than the average American but pay attention to the word average. Though the average European may live better than the average American, the top tier people in the US live better than the top tier people in Europe since they have unlimited means of expanding their wealth. The socialism mindset applies in Western European countries (with the exception of the UK in a lot of cases) when it comes to dating as well.
Your average European guy will run into better looking women than the average American guy, again, pay attention to the word average. Basically your average guy in Europe will run into a lot more 6s and 7s and a lot less 5s and below. There will be plenty of decent looking women to go around for the average European guy. Even the common and lower tier guys in Western Europe will have it good because of the abundance of decent looking women (pay attention to the word decent). The variety may not be as big (some countries will have an extremely high number of White women and little to no diversity unlike the US). Yet, the average European guy is better off because of the low numbers of women who are below average looking.
The basement for the average European guy is better than the basement for the average American guy but the ceiling for the American guy is much better than the ceiling for the European guy. Think about it in terms of salary. Doctors on average make more than lawyers, they are almost guaranteed a six figure salary and therefore have a strong basement. Lawyers can earn more than doctors and the top lawyers usually earn a lot more than the top doctors. So while the lawyer isn’t guaranteed six figure salaries, he has no limits on what he can earn while doctors have more limits. Just like the average American guy, though he isn’t guaranteed a decent looking girlfriend, he can be a Hugh Hefner and get with top notch after top notch women. The average American guy is rewarded a lot more for being top tier as opposed to the average guy anywhere else in the world."
