This isn't happening. Plenty of 50+ men are chasing 50+ women on websites like OurTime and Match and the 50+ audience is starting to show up on the swipe apps. There are also 50+ men chasing 50+ women in person.

There was just a major TV show about an older man dating older ladies. It was called "The Golden Bachelor". While "The Golden Bachelor" wasn't reality for the typical older single person, it did highlight how many older people are still interested in dating should they find themselves unattached later in life. Everyone on "Golden Bachelor" was between 60-75. The main bachelor guy was 72 and I think he ended up selecting a 70 year old as his final choice.

With the increase in gray divorce, more and more people are finding themselves unattached after 50.

Right now, the typical 50-55 year old who finds themselves unattached was previously married. By the time the Millennial generation starts to reach their 50s in the 2030s, you are going to way more never married and childless 50-55 year olds.

The typical 50+ guy who finds himself unattached isn't checking out of the dating market. He is still making efforts in seducing women close to his own age.

This 100. Not only in the west. In other cultures women will be in a marriage or something like that, basically most women will be locked down somehow.

Just read an article about some old famous celebrity (think that Jane Fonda level, every man wanted her) who is...geuss one time...48. Her boyfriend? 30. In the states the situation that comes to mind is Micheal Jordan's son and Scotty Pippins daughter .

Again as long as there's the combination of:
- men willing to pay for play
- women willing to hold it out

There's a discrepancy between supply and demand. In reality this comes down to a woman whose 50 can join Tinder, select 100 dudes who are 30 or even younger and go from there. From these 100 dudess..?(hypothetically)63% will be sexually starved ,and /or do the math that some free p00sy will save them 200 bucks a pop..

Lastly I wanna say that a 50 y o woman will definitely know how to seduce a man..and pressure him into a relationship kind of thing.
