You know I've never actually done this and the HB i'm taking to the range is hella nervous because she's never shot a gun. She's asking what happens if it flies out of my hands. or if she shoots somebody.

i'm like first of all its not gonna fly out of your hands and make sure you always point down range. not at yourself or somebody else.

but i think this is a great action date. afterwards i'm honestly thinking about just wrapping it up dropping her off and then heading out to the bar with the fellas later. I actually told her this and she seems really ecstatic about it.

and i was wondering is she ecstatic because i'm ditching her? or that the date is short again i'm woefully confused about the situation. I just wanna do something fun for myself personally i haven't been to the range in awhile i felt like going so i offered to take Her along.

advice? i'm thinking its a great one on one experience. little excitement in there and i can always "show" her how to shoot a gun. Lots of hands on.

Put your arms around her when showing her how to hold it

Give her high fives or hugs if she hits a bullseye. :D

If she's giving you good vibes at the end of the date, go ahead and invite her to hang with you and your guys at the bars. I'm sure she's not ecstatic about you ditching her, but going to the range in the first place. If she is excited about not getting to hang out with you, she probably would not be coming out with you in the first place.

First date at a shooting range sounds like a bad idea. First of all, she's going to be nervous because she has never fired a gun before. Second, it gets pretty f*cking loud at the range. How are you supposed to have a conversation with her if you have to scream over the sounds of gunfire? Third, while shooting guns is fun, it's not exactly a romantic activity. It's the kind of thing you do by yourself or with your buddies (or a girl you've already been dating for some time).

not looking for a romantic date though. And shooting ranges while loud are not as loud as you think unless somebody in there is going full auto with a sub machine gun you get the occasional pop, pop, pop. that's it.

also its not indoors. its an outdoor firing range. so the sound dissipates into the environment a lot better than indoors. so a loud pop is more of a crackle.

I feel that she's excited though. i mean here i got an HB probably used to "dinner and a movie" or "dinner" or "walk in the park" and then i come out of left field saying lets shoot some guns it'll be fun.

she's an adventurous chick as well that much i know. that's why i feel this would appeal to her senses. but i could be wrong. and sometimes a little fear stirs up some primitive emotions :D

Not a bad idea. You get to teach her something new, tons of Kino hands on like you said. If she has a really good time with you, maybe go grab some lunch with her afterwards, a place of your choosing. (extend the date a little)

Now the range on a first date wouldn't be my first choice, but then again if this chick is into that thing why the hell not? Action broad..pretty hot.

Just a tip from past experiences. If you plan on dropping her off and going out with the boys after the date. Don't tell her thats what you are doing, which from what you wrote seems like you did.

Spend your time with her keeping it light and fun, if your having a good time and she giving you good signs extend the date, take her to grab something to eat. After you drop her off, leave her guessing what you are doing later that night, let her think to herself "hmm what is he doing later? Is he taking another girl out!"

Keep the mystery, GL tell me how it goes!

Create self-fulfilling prophecies. Always assume the positive. Assume she likes you. Assume she wants to talk to you. Assume she wants to go out with you. When you think positive, positive things happen.

If you're going to teach her to shoot, it's like throwing in punch - most people are going to be off-balance and way too tense. Put her in a good stance and before she pulls the trigger, have her exhale and relax her muscles. You can put your hand on her back, and you should be able to feel when she is too tense.
