There's a woman on my FB who claims that somebody put a date rape drug in her drink. I've heard many, many other women claim that men have put things in their drinks.

I call bull5hit.

I have never known a man to put anything in a woman's drink. I don't even know what the drug is or where people get it from.

Anyone else think the date rape drug claim is just an excuse to cover up a woman's drunken wh0rish behaviour?

Anytime I heard about rape drug it was from girls, no one of my guy friend nor any acquaitances ever mentioned it, not even those using roids or drugs which could have access to any compound.

Good for you. I can say the same thing. But no doubt there's a-holes out there who will beat their wives/gfs, who will steal and abuse, and who will procure and utilize GHB and other crap.
For all I know, GHB is relatively easy to obtain, especially in Europe. My country's discussing a potential GHB rape case at the time, and that stuff is just gross. I can see your point about women maybe confusing booze pass-out and date rape drugs, but the thing is that GHB is depleted by the body within 6-12 hrs. So unless you hit the hospital right away, it's very difficult, if not impossible to detect.

Hell yeah all the time. Once I was at bar with my buddy. I looked over at the girl sitting next to me, I smiled and said "Hey, how you doing tonight." her response "did you put somthing in my drink".

I've heard many similar stories. Usually it goes something like this: "I was out at Place X and I only had one or two drinks and next thing I know I'm sooooo wasted, that's how I know I was drugged". The more likely explanation is that she can't handle her liquor or that she got so drunk that she could only remember the first couple of drinks that she had. In my book, a woman telling you about being "date rape drugged" is grounds for immediate plate dropping. These are the same women who have consensual sex with guys and then "decide" that they've been raped.

A couple years ago here in Japan the U.S. Embassy had to issue a warning to Americans living here. There were a few clubs (run by Nigerians) in Roppongi, the huge nightclub section of Tokyo.

They were spiking people's drinks and walking them to the ATM to take out all their cash for their huge bar bills.

Dude would wake up the next day with his bank account drained.

They actual drugs is Royphenol or roofies. I've had them prescribed to me as sleeping pills once. (they're legal in Japan).

The next day there was evidence that I cooked a full meal, (pots, pans, leftovers in the fridge) but I had absolutely ZERO memory of doing that.

If any girl thinks somebody put something in her drink, she'd be missing about 8 hours from the night before.

Benzos do wonders for that kind of ****, they cause lack of inhibition and anterograde amnesia, meaning the victim can't remember anything after.

Yes.

I also have NEVER known any guy who drugged a girl; but that probably isn't the type of thing you go around admitting.

I think it does happen, but very rarely, and the prevalence is WAY overblown. If I had a dollar for every girl who told me she was once "drugged", I'd be able to build a lab and design my own drugs.

Although-----I will say I have taken benzos (xanax, versed, valium, etc) both for surgery and a few times as a sleep aid, and the anterograde amnesia thing is no joke. They will pretty much wipe your memory out, ESPECIALLY if mixed with alcohol. This is well-documented. Not to mention they are readily accessible on the black market. One time I took a half of a xanax with a beer, and the next morning had zero recollection of trying to have anal sex with my girl hahaha. She had to walk me through it a few times until I got little flashbacks. Another time I took one while backpacking with a buddy, and the next morning neither of us had any recollection for putting the campfire out. We did, we just had no idea we did until we inspected it.
