Download the yelp app and find a dive bar with reasonably priced drinks. If it is near an action / activity (billiards, arcade, bowling), it is better.. .since that gives you a second location if things go well.

EyeBRollin is right. Go on Google and search "best restaurants (your city here)" and you will see a Yelp link. Go for the $$ ones (versus $ (cheap) $$$ (too much for first date) or $$$$ (for when you propose)). Then you can see their menu and text it to her in advance. Girls love to know details about where they will be going, especially if it's trendy. By reading up on the venue and neighborhood (and finding a place within walking distance in advance) you will have plenty to talk about and do. My favorite thing to do is to go to a new city with a pretty lady and visit some of their hot spots.

I recently met a beauty and got her number, and the moment she mentioned her city I did research and then replied with an inquiry about a certain place. She said it was her favorite spot in town (we're meeting there next week).

You didn't mention a city, but let's say you are in a rural city, girls love going cow tipping, making artisian cheese, quilt making, spooling cotton, under ground barn fight (MMA) and horse back riding, I seen this on a TV show.

Finding dates, meeting chicks in places unknown

. I always have been a small flirt with cashiers, even when I was in a LTR. I actually never noticed I did it, it was always pointed out and it was never done with any kind of overt intent... I just like to make people think or hear something unexpected. While I do live in Finland, my Finnish is quite crap (hint, the word for plastic bag is spoken "pvssy").

Today I was looking for a Coke next to the counter, with my milk and weekend pastries, and only a Vanilla Coke was there... and cashier says something I dont hear, I look, she repeats "Terve/Welcome", I reply in like, and go straight to English, "I dont really need that Coke anyway". I request my "pvssy" and go to pay, I say "well, everyone needs to get a little dirty sometimes (suggesting the Coke was dirty to a clean body)", and she quickly agrees, getting the innuendo and some remark that was positive, but blew through my head cuz of the eye contact she was giving. I leave like a boss with a std local goodbye.
I am 50, she was all of 28... will revisit in 3 days

Use a sarcastic or other remark to get an interest/smile, then ask about venues, food a date... cuz you are "new" in town
