ok so i tivo'ed an ellen re run with some beauty tips.
the woman who was giving them calls it secrets of the stars.
she said that if you have puffy eyes, its from not getting enough rest and you can lay down and put a slice of cucumber on the eyes to make the swelling stop.

if you have dark circles under your eyes, she said it was from toxins in your body. you can make it go away by putting slices of potatoes on your eyes and laying down for a little while.

so potato slices for dark circles and cucumber slices for puffiness.
Something tell me Ellen doesn't know what the hell she's talking about. Dark circles can be caused by a number of things, from thinning of the skin under the eyes to chronic sinus problems. And of course, lack of sleep. Toxins my assh0le.

i havent tried the potato thing yet, but when i do, i will let you know if it at least worked.
if you read my earlier replies, you will see that i honestly thought it was something hereditary.

Well it is hereditary for some people. The thinning of the skin under the eyes is a genetic thing that some people are blessed with......nothing you do causes it, and there's nothing you can really do to treat it.

1) Could be you lack Iron. Eat more greens like broccolli or red meat or take a multivitamin

2) get more sleep

3) dark circles could also mean allergies. Rubbing your eyes make them puffy and dark.

4)dehydration. Drink more water.

^ multivitamins/iron, sleep, and hydration never helped me.

allergies I kinda doubt it. I barely even get them anymore, and I never rub my eyes.

I think it may just be genetic for me. I was chatting to my bro today and noticed he had dark circles under his eyes too, but they're not as big or visible as mine.
