I was thinking of getting contacts for my glasses, but my eyelids are much darker than the rest of my face. It looks like I loaded up on crack just before I went to school. I dont need iron or vitamins or anything becaus I had blood work done when I went for a checkup, and everything was fine. Could someone tell me whats wrong, and how to correct it. Ill try to get a picture if I can.

I don't know what dark eyelids have to do with getting contacts.

To put up a picture, you have to upload it somewhere online and then provide a link to it.

How to change the dark skin color of your eye lids? I have no idea, makeup? At least I bumped your topic.

Definetly need some pics. A few tips though:

- Sleep more. If you're not getting 7-9 hours of sleep a night, you're not getting enough. Lack of sleep can really darken those bags under your eyes.

- Drink lots of water. Shoot for a gallon a day. It might seem excessive, but water is used in every body process, so it's pretty damn vital.

- If the dark circles are really bad, you can always get eye cream. Just make sure you dab it on (don't rub), as the skin around your eyes is incredibly sensitive, and you can easily make things worse by rubbing.

There're a bunch of different eye creams out there. Oil of Olay makes a few varieties, although they may be rather expensive. I'm sure there are plenty of others, just hit up the cosmetics section at your local drugstore some day.

Now that I think about it, your dark circles might also be due to a vitamin deficiency; specifically D and E. I know when I started taking a daily multi-vitamin I saw a huge difference in the dark circles under my eyes, and my skin-tone overall. Don't expect multi-vitamins to work miracles though... there's no better source of vitamins than whole foods.

I have the best under-eye combination in the world. I have tried many products for dark under-eye ciircles until I stumbled across a recipe.

First go to Walgreens and get the "sudden change under-eye serum" Which would run you about 8 bucks. The second product you need is the "sudden change green tea under eye gel" That would run about 10 dollars. But for me, I just rob that sh*t. easy too

Now when you wake up each morning, put a drop of the serum on your fingertips and glide it under both f your eyes. Wipe off the excess serum if it spreads all over. Next, take your index fingers and put them on the side of your eyes and stretch them ******ds towards your ears. Like your are trying to be oriental. Keep that state for about a minute until the serum dries under your eyes.

Now dip your finger in the green tea gel and glide it over the dried serum and you are set. The serum makes the under-eye bags disappear and the gel reflects the light making the darkness disappear

I have the same problem too.

I now get 8 hours of sleep every night, go to sleep every night at 10:30 except some Fridays/Saturdays, I take Vitamin D and E.

I used to drink lots of water, and that never helped. Sometimes I've eaten loads of peanuts and that didn't help either.

I really don't want to rely on creams and whatnot. What else can it be?

I've noticed the darkness gets better over the course of the day, but when I get home at night they are still there, just a bit better. Most of the time I feel pretty tired when I wake up, but even on the days when I get a perfect night sleep and I feel great when I wake up, I still have bags.
