Dancing with women who I aren't going to score with... not into?

Unusual topic but I was out in a popular night scene area and I was sort of observing the social dynamics.....

So obviously a lot of women go out with their cliques, some of who include male friends. I notice a lot of times they will dance with the male friends but nothing more... its all done in a friendly way...

The thing is the guys seem into just the friendly dancing... I guess I am just weird but unless I am seeing/hooking up with a girl or... at least trying to... I have no interest in dancing with a girl... I mean I see these other guys just having fun dancing... but I'm like wtf.... I feel no inclination to do it...

why tease myself??

We latinos see dancing as a passion.... Also traditional in our culture. Caribbean central and South America.

Salsa merengue.. Bachata.. Tango in Argentina flamenco in spain punta in Honduras.. Vallenato y cumbia in Colombia and dont get me started on the Reggaeton..


Man you dont know what you're missing. YouTube bachata dance and you can practically pickup a girl without saying a word dancing that sh! T.

Some people do enjoy social dancing. It's not always about rubbing your junk on somebody lol.

Of course, it depends on your objectives for the night.

Tiguere, the OP did say that he was talking about dancing with girls he wasn't into. IMO, I would say that dancing with any girl would be showing some social proof, so I don't see how it could be bad.

Dancing is a life time commitment....People do it for many reasons,both physical and social....To succeed you have to tread your way carefully into the Social Milieu,you will not be accepted as one of the in crowd until your dancing is at a respectable level.....Once you have mastered that,you can pounce on the learners from the vantage point of skill and respectability...I am not talking of discos here but of venues,where the clientele dance Ballroom,Tango,Siroc,R&R,Salsa etc...You as a blow in will be laughed at!.....Even when accepted,picking up Birds will not be an everyday occurrence,over a three month period,in each circle you can make it with one Girl,to treat the group as a carousel wont work,the Jungle Tom Toms start beating the moment you turn up,get a reputation as a "Player"and news will spread through the group like the Black Death....So one must tread cautiously and pick targets carefully!

Being a half-decent dancer will get you a lot more interest from women IME.

So to that end it does help you to be seen dancing with a variety of women, even if you have no/little interest in most of them.

It depends on whether they come up to dance with you (pre-selection), or you're seen approaching to ask for and then try to dance with them.
