Well, i dont know exactly, but it really depends on the crowd....this is what a good DJ did for New Years

It was all HipHop, Reggae

He started with ol skool dance songs (i forgot them)

so people could talk and just warm up after they arrive

Then he played a couple more opener songs (Kelis 'Mlkshake' , Sean Paul 'Get Busy; - songs that are hits, but not CRUNK ect) this got people into the mood, and once everyone was on top of their feet, he played CRUNk songs like "Get Low Remix" by Lil Jon f/ Ying Yang, Elephant Man and also "Hot in Herre"

ect

There is no such thing as a good danceopener because dancing itself is a great opener.... Just dance and do whatever the hell you want, start dancing with a chick, dance around and have fun and get approached, ask some girl to go dance or drop somethingl ike PlayerSupremes "When a good song comes on come dance with me, aight"

Last week my friend was dancing and getting a bit of eye contact with a girl who was up on a pedestal. (yeah I know we shouldn't be looking up to girls on pedestals but it's different on a dance floor).

He simply got closer and called out, "Is there room for two?" She said yes and the rest was just a matter of time.

If she says no you can move on without wasting any time dancing in her vicinity.
