Alright, so on the advice given on this forum, I went to see this girl with the intent on hooking up with her. I had already called her up and told her I was bringing some rum and she and I would drink it together alone, and she agreed to it.

WELL, it didn't turn out like that. It ended up being that she, I, her roommate, her friend from boston, and her (male) friend from san antonio were all visiting and hanging out with us. Lame.

So the night progressed, and as it went on, I pick up the vibes that the roommate is trying to hook up with. Lamer. So, I try my best to shrug it off, but every time I try to get alone with the girl, her roommate would be there.

We all got a lot drunk and began to talk. eventually the question of "who do you want to hook up with tonight" came up. Bear in mind, that it was only me and the guy from san antonio to choose from. immediately her roommate went "Oh, we've talked about this before. Not necessarily you to vs each other, but pros and cons of hooking up with each of you. I'd hook up with you" and so I played it off badassedly (I said something like "Psh, who wouldn't?")

The girl who I was originally interested in hooking up with? She said that between us, she'd hook up with her old friend from san antonio. **** **** dammit. I figure I've still got a shot since he's only here till tomorrow, then he leaves for good. In the mean time, I gotta think of a way to let down her roommate while still staying on good terms.

I need some advice from true DJs.

OK, let's analyze.

OK, first of all, you actually did the right thing by sticking around for a bit even though her friends were c0ckblocking you. However, what I would have done and what you probably should have said when they started asking her who she would hook up with was to say, "You can pick from everybody but me" with a sly smile. This conveys that you are off limits until you say otherwise.

I wouldn't worry at all about what this girl SAYS. I would only go by what she DOES and that's IT. She may have said that she would hook up with her old friend from S.A. because she might feel sorry for him, think he's a nice guy, or just a friend that she feels SAFEST saying that about since she doesn't feel attraction for him. But then again, it could be because she's horny for him but I certainly would not worry about that.

I would continue to pursue her. The worst you can get is a no.

I tell guys all the time: If you like the girl, it is worth it to keep running until you hit a wall.

Cool, good advice. I thought about that - when she said "I'd hook up with my old friend" she was blushing A LOT and said it with a moan. Like, she really didn't want to say it, so either she really was horny for him, like you said, or she felt safest? Who knows.

Check it - when I was leaving, her roommate said that they'd call me tomorrow to see if I wanted to hang out. Kinda lame, but tomorrow it'll only be the girl, her roommate, and me. Her friend from boston and the guy from SA leave tomorrow.

So what should I say? Yes or no?

I know its hard but you can't worry about what this chick is doing with other guys. If she is your GF then thats a different story.

Ignore what she says and judge things by what she does - if she wants you around she likes you regardless of what she is saying.

mistakes

that was a bad move and now she has her own separate feelings about you, my opinion is that youre a total idiot, she obviously was never actually attracted to you.

what signs did she ever even give you? first impressions mang.

you have to get yourself in a whole different mind set and stop lying to yourself, inside you know whats really happening. she probably knows you like her and feels sorry for your ass.

remember that no broad is just gonna jump on your ****, it just wont happen unless its some fat ugly desperate slob.

learn how to carry yourself like a man, A MAN OF ACTION.
