I don't get on here often; i like to cruise on another forum, while also PU and self-help, has interesting general topics

Why am i here right now ?
coz i'm bored and i want to read new stuff

I've noticed a lot of the vets and senior member here ranting on how the focus of the majority changed from women and seduction to "trivial" and bullsh!t topics like "Do ugly women get laid ?"... I found it interesting since i've felt a number of changes of focus over my journey of "self-help" and knowing who i am.

The focus indeed have changed. I can only speak for myself when i say that i found , in the height of my obsession with PU material and the what-to-do, that i'm to control & manipulate women into fixing me or making me feel good. As i realized this, i decided to cut the bull**** and fix myself directly and feel better about myself instead of waiting for some hoo-chee to do it (or other people in general)

Using inner game stuff and mostly my coach who's a life-stylist...i have to say that i'm digging deeper and it feels like i'm removing layers of hurt, fear, self-disgust and little by little reaching a true, energetic and powerful core inside me that i tucked away long ago, way long that i even forgot it existed

As a result, i don't post the same way i posted, or even start threads about the same topic. For me, the game is no longer about women anymore, the game is about us, MEN and when it comes to that, we don't need women to tell us how good we're doing and pat us on the back

I'm writing this as a chance for everyone to lay it down, straight up no bull**** or DVD-lectures...

To the young and old, the ones who still feel that women are the number one priority and motive and the others who feel that this No.1 spot is filled by something else

What changed ?

I haven't been here long so I haven't seen much of a change but some of the questions are ridiculous. Maybe they overthink.

i joined these boards under a different alias back in 2004 and when I joined there was something special about these forums

people were passionate about the DJ lifestyle, the DJ bible was somewhat new at that time and gave people some great ideas on how to better themselves as people. the people who posted here BELIEVED in the dj bible. it was less about pickup and more about how to become a man

i think as the community becomes more mainstream, these boards will attract alot of casual people who aren't passionate about change, but are more looking for that quick fix with women. this place doesnt have the same heart that it did back then.

these days... well lets just say not many topics are moved into the archive section...

i rarely ever check these forums anymore

A better place, a better time.
There are two types of people that frequent this site.

The first type harbors a deep motivation for something more from life. They have the drive to make a serious change in their life, but they lack the direction to get there. They have the dedication to walk the path to completion, but don't know where to start. Just as an Olympic athlete can't reach his full potential without a coach to teach him technique and keep him motivated, this kind of person can never reach their full potential without someone older, wiser, more talented to get them started. All the ambition in the world can't do anything without somewhere to channel it.

The second kind of person is lonely and confused, and wonders why the world doesn't understand them. They refuse to hit rock bottom and accept the fact that everything they've ever learned about this world is wrong. A line here, a technique there, isn't going to change anything, when the truth is that it takes so, so much more than that.

So what changed?

Pick Up method got popular, which means a lot more of the second type of person pouring in looking for help. It's alright with me. PUA methods can get as much or as little publicity as the media wants to give them. It makes no difference. For us, the true believers, it's not about that.

Becoming a DJ is not about becoming a PUA. There are other sites and places where that can be done. As others before me have said, this place is about so, so much more than that. PUA tactics are but a small, small part of the DJ's arsenal.

But, of course, people don't realize that when they get here. It takes a little bit of effort that many people, sadly, just aren't willing to put in. The people who have been here a while realize what you're talking about, that life has to come first and everything else, women included, will fall into place.

So in short, though I have not been here long, these forums have spurred an incredible change in my life. And I'm with you man, Inner Game is the only way to go, and it's what this site is all about.

C/S

I've been on the boards for 3 months, and my confidence has skyrocketed, the knowledge that I gain on a daily/weekly basis in terms of the social dynamics not just dealing with women but human beings is profound, just when I think I got it, I realize that there is so much more that I need to learn. If it wasn't for this site I truly would be happy just being "average"

The whole DJ thing, is overrated, meaning guys wanna put labels on it, whats wrong with just being "your best self" that to me is a real DJ

Hmm well...

I just popped back here to see what changed a couple days ago... Yeah something changed, but I'm not sure what.

I stopped coming here often because I got tired of all the negativity and hate that was around, and that seems to have 'dimmed' a bit, or maybe it's just me no longer paying attention to it, not sure...

Either way, it seems to me that the overall direction is aimed at the 'initiate', you know, seems to be a lot of dancing monkey stuff going around. That's fine though, nice to see it in action and... kinda funny ;-)

Yea, same here and i noticed that too. I guess i came for one final look; u know ?

Nice replies guys, "Passionate", "Motivated to change"

I have to say, at first, these things weren't in my books...i was just on the forums, watching 2 hours of David D a night coz i was afraid of becoming (or staying) as a "Wuss"
But running away from fear ends sooner or later. now like i said, i'm getting more into that fear and more into who i am

I believe that what attracts a lot of people (including myself) to the "PUA" lifestyle isn't much about passion to change as much as fear and thinking of it as means to control and change everything and everyone that's been rejecting you into accepting you.

You gotta admit: that's what really drove most of us here.

I hope these guys who are living in fear realize that they created it and find their passion in life.

Meanwhile, here's a thought:

Why don't we, the really passionate guys, make a move to change back the DJ forum to the way it use to be ?

I'm with ya; i don't feel like posting new threads (i used to do that when i wasn't sure of something)

But let's do that; if we want our forum to have what we want, we gotta start putting it in there

It doesn't matter about the state of the site. There'll always be new people coming and asking 'stupid' questions etc but people have to start from somewhere.

There are many different types of people on the site. Ask a question and you can get many different types of answers sometimes. Is that a bad thing? I don't think so. A person will choose his own path and if you have a vision and goals the posters who have a similar outlook will be the posters who you find the best. Like attracts like.

I tend to prefer positive posts and posts about becoming a better man but thats not to say I won't read others. It's always good to get different points of view but after a while the posts that I find the best are from people with similar values/goals/dreams etc.

I haven't been a member for very long, but even in the short time I've been on this site I've noticed a change. When I registered, there were some good posts and not so great ones, but in general there was some good advice being thrown around (with the bad). I stopped coming for a variety of reasons, but now that I've checked in a few times, it seems like every reply is "next that b!tch" or worse. A lot less informative posts, and less good advice.

There's also the chance that some of this is a reflection of me, and, as my skills and knowledge go up, I can more critically look at individual posts and replies than I could have before.

In any case, I'll probably stop visiting the site again. The problem is that I don't know of any other better options of forums to join.

Bingo!

Complainers need to start making the topics they'd like to see instead of making constant unproductive topics like this that have been done over and over and over again with NO USEFUL RESULT ever arising.

If however a complainer is far too lazy to create the change they'd like to see there are always alternatives sub par though they may be...

Exactly. Of course when you do make a post about something you would like to discuss, people try to make it personal and want to fight you with thier own agendas/insecurities. Be prepared for that.
