curious on when I asked out co worker she didnt respond

then 2 days later new coworker came to my office introduced herself said that her and the girl ( iasked out) talk about me and say oh yeah manager can be problem let me know if you need anything.

I just wondered why? some kind of test see if I still like her or what just wondering?
