As many have been saying, all depends on the reason to cry. It's quite simple. The circumstances determine the way any behavior is judged.

If crying was wrong in all situations, we could never use the bathroom in our society. I mean, you wouldn't typically whip it out and urinate on someone's shoes in the middle of church, right? (We're talking ideally here.) However, I'm sure you'd find no problem urinating in the comfort of your bathroom. Crying is the same concept, though probably not as much of a sanitation issue. Use your heads.

Me I cant hold my emotions. I cryed infront of my ex girfriend and she couldn't belive it. She said are you crying???! She would never expect this one. So guy try to not cry infront of a girl it looks horrible.

Honestly, men do cry, undr certain circumstances, but i tend to agree with what waas stated that we need to be strongholds for anyone around us, and someone who is cryying profusely for an extended period of time is useless. I don't cry due to injuries, failed tests, or the common trivialities of life and high school, but My Dad has ALS, or lou gehrig's disease, and when he dies, I will probably cry a lot then.

look... most men don't cry even half as much as women. Women cry all the time.

I've heard recently that some men cry 17 times a year... holy crap! I just can't understand how that can be. Men don't go on the rag every month and we don't get PMS.

I'm sorry, but if you cry once a month you must be going through some really hard crap in your life. Your life must suck!

I don't cry in front of anyone. But that isn't because I hold everything in it is just because I'm not depressive and I don't have PMS. I can't remember the last time I cryied. maybe at most I cry once or twice a year, but there has to be a damn good reason.

Why someone would think that men who don't cry are incapable of showing compassion is retarded.


The fact is compassion for someone and love has NOTHING to do with how many times you fu-cking cry.


People who are unstable emotionally and/or depressed have a greater need to cry then those who are stable emotionally.

I get touched by things a lot....maybe 1 yr ill cry 8 times..maybe another Ill cry 20.

regardless...crying has nthing to do with being a hard ass man...I knwo most people here are KBJ's ive never met anyone as hard ass as the guys here..interesting....and the very few guys ive met who werent emotional at all..were old.
