crunches: what can I use to hold my feet down?

yeah, simple problem with a simple solution most likely.

I want to do crunches and sit ups at home buy dont have anyhthing to hold my feet down.


What should I use?

Dave dont act retarded...

you get a barbell, add a couple weights on it and you position your feet under it..

see, not that hard, is it?

Well first, never do situps. Two, the right position fo a crunch is with your legs bent and elevated. My two favorite variations are on a flat bench with your feet up on the racked bar and on a medicine ball. At home I'd suggest putting your legs up on a couch then scooting all the way in so your ass is up against the couch.

And by your description it sounds like you'r lying flat on the floor and trying to sit straight up. This isn't a good exercise at all. Look around and find the proper way to do a crunch.
