Critique my POF 2nd Edition

Hey guys I jumped on the POF wagon as well since I need to maximize my experiences on the field. I revamped it and tried new things.

I have been following NN's advices and this is what I came up with. For some reason Okcupid isn't cutting it for me. I have gotten a few numbers but none have really turned into dates.

I personally wouldn't stick up any topless photos. Having spoken to and dated a fair few girls off dating sites; the general consesus about topless photo pics is those guys are sad and they don't bother with them. Not that you are, and I know you put a cartoon face on, but still.

You have a nice body (no homo), why not surprise a girl instead.

Also limit the dislikes. Even though I agree with many of them, you'll put off girls. Girls are illogical and might think you're a picky guy or something when those are reasonable requests.

Couldn't disagree more. The chicks who told you that re probably a) lying or b) looking for a committed relationship aka not DTF. You don't want to waste your time with these chick anyways, and your shirtless pic will weed these time wasters out, which is a good thing.

Go shirtless, it's gonna make a BIG difference. Chicks are as shallow as guys, especially the ones using online dating. They'll love it

As for your pictures. It looks like you might be into the Emo/Goth scene? Or are you from Europe? Like a previous poster said you kindof look like Prince. A different hairstyle would change your look drastically along with not wearing black in every pic. (IMO your pics almost look like a dude whos confused about which team to hit for.)

The shirtless is fine but use your FACE in it and hide the pic from your profile so you don't get reported. You can still click it to send to chicks who you spam.

Your about me is funny but the problem is most chicks on POF are complete retards and though they claim to have a sense of humor (the girlfriend passed away though a joke most will read that and not reply as they won't get you are joking.) Try to change it a bit with the girlfriend passed away or girlfriend period. Also any mention of they must look this way will piss them off. EVEN IF it's a joke. Trust me you are dealing with complete morons on there.

Exactly. Chicks will claim one thing in public but if you work out and are cut up looking good shirtless they reply even more.

It's also been proven on OkCupid. There was some thread somewhere about studies done online on sites about response rates for good working out cut up shirtless pics by dudes and it DOES increase responses. Regardless of if chicks try to play the "good serious girl" who doesn't reply to shirtless pics. It's laugable. You look good enough shirtless. That public statement goes right out the window in private email response proof.

Without a doubt I've fvcked chicks off Pof because of my shirtless pic whom otherwise would've skipped right over my message. It will catch their eye (which is why I suggest using it as your main pic) and give you a better chance to standout

Conclusion:

After a whole day of spamming countless of messages till I got blocked by a filter, I have to tell you I'm not nearly satisfied with the results.

Only managed to get around 1/60 phone numbers, with some that actually replied till I asked for the number close and a couple with negative feedback.

Almost a year of self-improvement since I joined the ssuave site and I can see it's still to early for me and I have much to learn ( I must be patient). I will keep training my body harder for another 6 months and bulk up more mass pounds to appeal more physically attractive. I'll also get rid eventually of those "prince" like images and mix up my wardrobe with lighter colors. I'll gather more pictures during social interactions or events as well and try to get better jobs.

To tell you the truth... I don't even feel like calling the only girl that actually gave me her number. It didn't felt like a victory. I'm going to let that one go; I like winning big.

Girls standards are really delusional sky rocket *sigh*

The girls of POF may have won this battle but definitively not the war. I'll make my next comeback on summer 2013 with a 3rd edition revamp.

I really don't understand why you guys keep using these sites. Especially when the main goal guys have here (myself included) is to be 100% confident and happy with ourselves.

It is no secret that, for most guys, online dating sites are confidence killers numero uno.

Most girls will ignore your messages. Even ugly whences and warpigs will reject you. The competion is insane and the guys are desperate. Guys will accept to drop their standards by several points, and the average and ugly girls gets to enjoy the massive attention from guys several points above them. This manifests itself in other social areas. The average and ugly girls think that they can get top 10% guys, but in reality they only get used for sex and end up complaining about how bad guys are. They still think they deserve that type of guy, because they get massive attention from them online.

I've used social networking/dating sites in the past and have had moderate success. However, i find it to be too much of a numbers game. If you live in a huge city with millions of inhabitants, it's different, but if you live in a smaller city you will plough through the entire dating pool in a few weeks. Girls online can also be found in bars, nightclubs etc. It's not cool to approach a girl who has already rejected you online is it? Do you feel like James Bond when that happens? I don't think so.

Stay away from sites like this. Bad for confidence. Bad for reputation. Bad for mentality. Bad for quality.

Chicks ARE judging you on how you look even though they don't want to be judged. Not saying you look bad aesthetically but it's the mental image of your look.

The first impression of your pics looks like a dude who wears black eyeliner, paints his nails black (due to the mostly all black clothing) and the kindof forced poses in your pictures (not relaxed).

Now with that being said though you look fine with the working out aspect them seeing your "look" most likely is scaring them off thinking if they met you they'd possibly end up a dismembered corpse somewhere.


You need some lighter colored clothing (not bright), and to seem relaxed in your pics.

Your current look combined with the joke about me regarding your ex "passed away" plants the seeds in their mind right off the bat that you are most likely a nut job, and with your physique...a strong nut job.

The pic in the mirror reminds me of the scene from Silence of the Lambs where buffalo bill is dancing in front of the mirror saying: I'd fvck me...I'd fvck me sooo hard!

I don't know if I mentioned this before but I did used to be bullied heavily during childhood. I think I somehow developed some kind of intimidating mechanism because of it. Now don't get me wrong, I'm a very well respected and very social person.You would change your mind if you would meet me on real life.

And yes I'm an artist, I used to be very into metal and goth (I still like it) stuff during high school but I'm very open minded now days since I'm striving for improvement. I dont want to limit myself to only the dark, macabre scene culture so that's why I'm going to keep learning and striving for the best of the best.

As for my hair goes... i have to disagree. I have experimented from short, to long, to average, to afro, to colorful... you name it! And this one is the one that suits me the best (yeah it looks a bit like Hitler's and Adam Lambert's, i get that once in a while). I feel very proud of it and do I get a lot of complements about it. This is one of those things that its part of myself and if a girl cant accept it well.. she can look somewhere else.

I think your words are very wise to shut down the profile for the time being.

I have saved pretty much the info and everything and have gathered plenty of feedback to work with for the time being.

No problem. Then just hide your profile for a while, change to lighter colored clothes in pictures to use for POF (dark blue jeans are fine), update the about me and don't mention ex or passing away even though it's an obvious joke they are connecting that with your look and taking it as possibly "serious" and "creepy".

Once that's been updated and they forgot your original profile, you put the same shirtless pic, then other new ones and start spamming. You will be floored at the difference in responses. After a while you'll start getting so many replies and numbers meets etc. You won't know what the hell to do with yourself.

Once that happens DO NOT try to wife ANY of those chicks up. Trust me theyre all meeting dudes and banging the hottest ones with game. You only have to use POF as practice chicks for getting used to meeting and dealing with chicks in real life and adding a few FBs if you want on the side. Once you get enough in real life you can drop POF altogether and or only use it for dry spells.


On a side note. About the Goth stuff....Some of those chicks are friggin sexxxy as hell!
