I just got this creatine stuff...Ironman Labs or something like that. It's a mixture of Creatine Monohydrate and Creatine Pyruvate. I was just wondering what the difference is, and whether I should load as drastically as I would with just monohydrate. Thanks,

The theory behind creatine pyruvate is that it is bonded with pyruvic acid which creates a substance already in ionic form. On ingestion the hydrocloric acid in the stomach splits the molecules apart making the creatine absorbed directly into the bloodstream thus making it more bioavailable.

Sounds like complete bollocks to me and this form of creatine has been shown to be a scam - like boron for example.

Furthermore, this kind of creatine is touted for getting lean and losing weight, so why the hell is it in a product with creatine monohydrate?

Stick with regular, micronized creatine mono.
